Շիրակի առևտրաարդյունաբերական պալատը ավելի լայնածավալ գործունեություն կծավալի՝ աջակցելու համար մարզի արդյունաբերողներին: Բիզնես միջավայրի բարելավում, արտաքին կապերի հաստատաման միջոցով նոր հնարավորությունների ստեղծում, բիզնեսների շահերի պաշտպանություն՝ սրանք այն հիմնական ուղղություններն են, որոնցով աշխատում է պալատը:

Այս մասին օգոստոսի 22-ին ասուլիսում նշեց պալատի գործադիր տնօրեն Կարեն Պետրոսյանը: Ամփոփելով անցած 6 ամիսների ընթացքում իրականացված աշխատանքները՝ նա ասաց, որ իրենց հիմնականում դիմում են մաքսային ու հարկային խնդիրների հետ կապված: Սակայն մարզի արտադրողների ամենամեծ բացը շուկայավարման բացակայությունն է. չկան մարքետոլոգներ և մինչ բիզնեսի ստեղծումը ոչ ոք շուկան չի ուսումնասիրում: Դա էլ հիմնական պատճառն է, որ շատ բիզնեսներ արագ փակվում են:

«Ընդհանուր առմամաբ մարզում այս պահին կա մոտ 6 հազար գրանցված ընկերություն՝ առևտրային և ոչ առևտրային: Արտահանողները նրանց մեջ 21-ն: Չնայած այս խնդիրը միայն Շիրակինը չէ՝ ողջ Հայաստանում արտահանողների թիվը բավական նվազ է:
