Թուրքմենստանի նախագահի պաշտոնական այցի շրջանակներում Նախագահի նստավայրում կայացել են ընդլայնված կազմով բանակցությունները՝ երկու երկրների պատվիրակությունների մասնակցությամբ: Ինչպես տեղեկանում ենք ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության եւ տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը և Թուրքմենստանի նախագահ Գուրբանգուլի Բերդիմուհամեդովը բարձր մակարդակի բանակցությունների արդյունքներով ստորագրել են Համատեղ հայտարարություն:

Ստորագրվել են նաև Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Թուրքմենստանի միջև մի շարք ոլորտներում երկկողմ համագործակցության խորացմանն ուղղված փաստաթղթեր, մասնավորապես՝ «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիայի Ա.Նազարովի անվան Երկրաֆիզիկայի և ինժեներային սեյսմաբանության ինստիտուտի և Թուրքմենստանի Գիտությունների ակադեմիայի Սեյսմաբանության և մթնոլորտի ֆիզիկայի ինստիտուտի միջև գիտատեխնիկական համագործակցության մասին», «Երևանի պետական համալսարանի և Թուրքմենստանի Մահտումկուլիի անվան պետական համալսարանի միջև համագործակցության մասին», «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Կառավարության և Թուրքմենստանի Կառավարության միջև զբոսաշրջության բնագավառում համագործակցության մասին», «Հայաստանի ազգային ագրարային համալսարանի և Ս.Ա.Նիյազովի անվան թուրքմենական գյուղատնտեսական համալսարանի միջև համագործակցության մասին» համաձայնագրերը, «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության կենտրոնական բանկի ֆինանսական դիտարկումների կենտրոնի և Թուրքմենստանի ֆինանսների նախարարության միջև փողերի լվացման, փողերի լվացմանը նախորդող հանցագործությունների և ահաբեկչության ֆինանսավորման հետ կապված ֆինանսական հետախուզական տվյալների փոխանակման ոլորտում համագործակցության մասին», «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության սպորտի և երիտասարդության հարցերի նախարարության և Թուրքմենստանի սպորտի պետական կոմիտեի միջև սպորտի բնագավառում համագործակցության մասին» փոխըմբռնման հուշագրերը, «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Կառավարության և Թուրքմենստանի Կառավարության միջև 2018-2020 թթ. մշակույթի և արվեստի ոլորտում համագործակցության մասին» ծրագիրը, «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարարության դիվանագիտական դպրոցի և Թուրքմենստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարության միջազգային հարաբերությունների ինստիտուտի միջև համագործակցության մասին» հուշագիրը և «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարարության և Թուրքմենստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարության միջև 2018-2019 թթ.» համագործակցության ծրագիրը:

Նախագահներ Սերժ Սարգսյանը և Գուրբանգուլի Բերդիմուհամեդովը հանդիպման արդյունքներն ամփոփել են զանգվածային լրատվամիջոցների ներկայացուցիչների առջև հայտարարություններով:
