Էնդրու Շոֆերը պաշտոնապես հայտարարվեց ԵԱՀԿ-ի Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ

Միացյալ Նահանգները ողջունում է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հարցով ԵԱՀԿ-ի Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահի պաշտոնում Էնդրու Շոֆերի նշանակման փաստը։ Այս մասին ասված է ԱՄՆ-ի Պետդեպարտամենտի խոսնակ Հեդըր Նոուերթի կողմից օգոստոսի 28-ին հրապարակված հայտարարության մեջ, հաղորդում է «Ամերիկայի ձայնը»:

Հայտարարությունում ասված է, որ Շոֆերը Եվրոպայի ու միջազգային կազմակերպությունների հարցերով ունի մեծ փորձառություն, որը մինչեւ այս պաշտոնին նշանակվելը եղել է Վիեննայի Միջազգային կազմակերպություններում ԱՄՆ-ի առաքելությունում գործերի ժամանակավոր հավատարմատարը։

2Օ15 թվականի օգոստոս ամսից մինչեւ 2017-ի հունվարը նա զբաղեցրել է այս կազմակերպությունում ԱՄՆ-ի առաքելության փոխնախագահի պաշտոնը։ Մինչ այդ՝ 2Օ14-ից մինչեւ 2Օ15-ի օգոստոսը Շոֆերը ծառայել է այս կազմակերպությունում որպես Ատոմային էներգետիկայի միջազգային գործակալությունում խորհրդական։

Մինչեւ Վիեննայի միջազգային կազմակերպություններում ԱՄՆ-ի առաքելությունում ծառայելը, Էնդրու Շոֆերը 2011-ից 2014 թվականներին զբաղեցրել է Կիպրոսում ԱՄՆ-ի փոխդեսպանի պաշտոնը, աշխատել Քուվեյթում, Բահրեյնում ու Ռուսաստանում ԱՄՆ-ի դեսպանություններում։

Մինչ այդ, Վաշինգտոնում իր գործունեության ընթացքում Շոֆերը պաշտոններ է զբաղեցրել Պետդեպարտամենտի Իրաքյան բաժնում, եղել փոխպետքարտուղարի քաղաքական հարցերով հատուկ օգնականը։ Այստեղ նրա պարտականությունները տարածվել են Մերձավոր Արեւելքի եւ հակաահաբեկչության հետ կապված խնդիրների վրա։

Պետդեպարտամենտի կողմից օգոստոսի 28-ին հրապարակված հայտարարության մեջ ասված է, թե Միացյալ Նահանգները հավատարիմ է մնում Մինսկի խմբի կողմից ստանձնած պարտավորությունների իրականացմանը եւ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությանը խաղաղ ու հարատեւ լուծում գտնելու գործին։

«Ինչպես նշված է հունիսի 19-ի ու հուլիսի 6-ի հայտարարություններում, Միացյալ Նահանգներն աջակցում է արդար այնպիսի լուծում գտնելու ջանքերը, որոնք հիմնված կլինեն միջազգային օրենքների, այդ թվում՝ Հելսինկիի եզրափակիչ ակտի վրա, որոնք ներառում են ուժ չկիրառելու, տարածքային ամբողջականությունը եւ ինքնորոշման իրավունքը հարգելու սկզբունքները», ասված է հայտարարության մեջ։

Հայտարարությունը տեղեկացնում է նաեւ, որ Էնդրու Շոֆերին այս պաշտոնում նշանակելու մասին որոշումն ուղարկվել է Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի կառավարություններին։

Էնդրու Շոֆերը ԵԱՀԿ-ի Մինսկի խմբում ԱՄՆ-ը ներկայացնող համանախագահի պարտականությունները ստանձնում է անմիջապես այս հայտարարության հրապարակման պահից։
