Armenian Power (Արմենիան Փաուեր) կամ Հայկական ուժ․ այսպես է կոչվում ԱՄՆ-ում գործունեություն ծավալող հանցավոր կազմակերպությունը։ Նրանց կենտրոնը գտնվում է ԱՄՆ Կալիֆորնիա նահանգում, ավելի կոնկրետ՝ Լոս Անջելես քաղաքում։

Ըստ որոշ տվյալների, Armenian Power-ն ունի մի քանի հարյուր համախոհ, մոտավորապես՝ 250 անդամ,-հայտնում է ԱՄՆ դատախազությունը։ Ինչպես շատ այլ հանցավոր խմբավորումներ, Հայկական ուժի անդամները ևս զբաղվում են թմրամիջոցների ապօրինի շրջանառությամբ, մարդասպանություններով, գողություններով և այլն։

Դժվար է ասել, թե ստույգ երբ է սկսվել կազմավորվել Armenian Power-ը, սակայն մի բան հստակ է․ նրանք սերտ կապերի մեջ են ռուսական մաֆիայի հետ։ Դեռ 1980-ականների սկզբին նրանք արդեն սկսել էին զբաղվել հանցավոր գործունեությամբ՝ սպանության սպառնալիքներով գումար էին շորթում մարդկանցից։

Հայտնի է, որ 1988 թվականի ամռանը 2 տասնյակից ավելի հայեր իրենց տիրապետության տակ են վերցրել Արևելյան Հոլիվուդի խանութներից մեկի ավտոկայանատեղին և այն վերածել իրենց կազմակերպության նստավայրի։

ԱՄՆ-ում շատ են ազգային-էթնիկ հանցավոր խմբավորումները, սակայն համեմատ մյուս կազմակերպությունների, Armenian Power-ը իր ծավալներով բավականին փոքր է, սակայն նրանց հաջողվել է քրեական համբավ ձեռք բերել Կալիֆորնիայում։

Armenian Power-ին է վերագրվում ԱՄՆ-ում կատարված մի շարք հանցագործություններ, այդ թվում՝ 1997 թվականին շարժվող մեքենայի կողմից արձակված կրակոցները, որի արդյունքում 12 անմեղ մարդ զոհվեց։

2000-ականների սկզբից Armenian Power-ը հակամարտության մեջ մտավ լատինամերիկյան White Fence(Սպիտակ ցանկապատ) խմբավորման հետ, որոնք ավելի հին պատմություն ունեն, իսկ անդամների քանակը գերազանցում է 3000-ը։ Բանն այն է, որ 2000 թվականի մայիսի 22-ին White Fence-ի անդամ Խոսե Արգուետան սպանեց Հայկական ուժի հիմնադիրներից մեկին՝ Սայլենթ մականունով Արմեն Պետրոսյանին։ Նույն ամսվա մեջ հայկական և լատինամերիկյան երկու խմբավորումների մեջ 3 բախում եղավ՝ մահվան ելքով։ Բարեբախտաբար վերջերս երկու կողմերն էլ հանդարտվել են։

Սովորաբար Armenian Power-ի անդամները սափրում են իրենց գլուխները և ունեն բազմաթիվ դաջվածքներ «Armenian Power», «AP», «AP-13» և այլ գրություններով։ Լուսանկարներում Armenian Power-ի մասնակիցներին հաճախ կարելի է տեսնել ձեռքերը վեր պարզած, բութն ու ցուցամատը՝ միացրած, ինչը նրանց խորհրդանիշն է։

Հիշեցնենք, որ երեկ՝ օգոստոսի 29-ին Երևանի Էրեբունի վարչական շրջանում գտնվող բիլիարդանոցներից մեկում մի տղամարդ աղջկա էր պատանդ պահել և սպառնում էր, որ կսպանի նրան։ Ոստիկանները երկարատև բանակցում էին այդ տղամարդու հետ, ինչից հետո ստիպված եղան դիմել դիպուկահարի օգնությանը։ ՀՀ Քննչական կոմիտեն հաղորդում է, որ պատանդառուն 31-ամյա Գոռ Հակոբյանն է, որ վերջերս է արտաքսվել ԱՄՆ-ից։

Ըստ հանրության շրջանում պտտվող լուրերի, դատելով Գոռ Հակոբյանի մարմի վրա եղած դաջվածքներից, նա Armenian Power հանցավոր խմբավորման անդամ էր։
