Մարդու պապիլոմավիրուսային վարակի դեմ պատվաստանյութը ներդրված է աշխարհի ավելի քան 70 երկրներում, որոնցից 33-ը եվրոպական են: 

Լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության գլխամասային գրասենյակի փորձագետ պրոֆեսոր Պաուլ Բլյումի խոսքով` պատվաստումներն այդ երկրներում բավական հաջողություններ են գրանցել: «Այդ պետություններից մեծ մասը բարձր եկամուտ ունեցող են եւ մենք ողջունում ենք, որ եկամտի միջին մակարդակ ունեցող պետությունների շարքում Հայաստանն առաջիններից է, որտեղ  նախաձեռնում են այս պատվաստանյութի ներդրումը»,-ասաց նա:

Պաուլ Բլյումի խոսքով` Հայաստանի համար մարդու պապիլոմավիրուսային վարակի դեմ պատվաստանյութը ձեռք է բերվելու շատ մատչելի գնով` մեկ դեղաչափի դիմաց 4.5 դոլար, մինչդեռ մյուս պետությունների համար պատվաստման մեկ դեղաչափի արժեքը 4-ից 25 անգամ ավելի բարձր է: «Սա թույլ կտա արդյունավետ կերպով ներդնել այդ պատվաստանյութը եւ ապահովել դրա շարունակական կիրառումը պատվաստումների ազգային օրացույցում»,-ասաց նա:

ԱՀԿ ներկայացուցիչը նշեց, որ պատվաստանյութի ազդեցության հետ կապված արդեն իսկ առկա են նախնական տվյալներ: Այն երկրներում, որտեղ որ այդ պատվաստանյութն արդեն մի քանի տարի է, ինչ կիրառվում է, դիտվում է հիվանդացության շատ մեծ անկում: «Սկանդինավյան պետություններում ստեղծվել են արգանդի վզիկի քաղցկեղի շատ լավ ռեգիստրներ եւ հենց այդ տվյալների հիման վրա էլ պարզ է դառնում, որ այդ պատվաստանյութի կիրառման արդյունքում մեծապես կրճատվել է հիվանդության նախաքաղկեղային վիճակը»,-հավելեց Բլյումը:

 Մարդու պապիլոմավիրուսային վարակի դեմ պատվաստանյութը Շվեդիայում բավական մեծ հաջողություններ է գրանցել: Պրոֆեսոր Ջոհակիմ Դիլների խոսքով`պապիլկոմավիրուսի վարակն իր երկրում  որպես այդպիսին ավելի ու ավելի հազվադեպ է հայտնաբերվում: «Մեր երկրում աղջիկներն այդ պատվաստումը ստանում են 10,11 տարեկանում: Այդ պատվաստումներն իրականացվում են դպրոցում: Դրանք կամավոր են: Բոլոր աղջիկներին պատվաստումից առաջ տրամադրվում են տեղեկատվական փաթեթներ պատվաստումների արդյունավետության վերաբերյալ: Անհրաժեշտ է նաեւ ծնողների համաձայնությունը»,-ասաց նա:

Պրոֆեսորը վստահեցրեց, որ Շվեդիայում  այդ պատվաստումներին ընդգրկվածությունը կազմում է 80 տոկոս:
