Ջորջ Մարշալի անվան Անվտանգության հետազոտությունների եվրոպական կենտրոնի Հայաստանի շրջանավարտների՝ սեպտեմբերի 1-ին Երևանում անցկացված «Հայաստանի անվտանգության մարտահրավերները» թեմայով խորհրդաժողովի նախօրեին, Ջ. Մարշալի կենտրոնի տնօրեն, գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Քիտ Դեյթոնի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը այցելեց ՀՀ ՊՆ Պաշտպանական ազգային հետազոտական համալսարան: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ՊՆ Պաշտպանական ազգային հետազոտական համալսարանից:

Հյուրերին ընդունեց ՊԱՀՀ-ի պետ, Ջ. Մարշալի կենտրոնի շրջանավարտ (1998թ.), քաղաքական գիտությունների դոկտոր, պրոֆեսոր, գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Հայկ Քոթանջյանը:

Հանդիպմանը մասնակցում էին ՊԱՀՀ-ի պետի տեղակալ, Ջ. Մարշալի կենտրոնի շրջանավարտ, գնդապետ Գևորգ Սարուխանյանը, ՊԱՀՀ-ի պետի՝ գիտության գծով տեղակալ-Ազգային ռազմավարական հետազոտությունների ինստիտուտի պետ, Ֆլեթչերի դպրոցի շրջանավարտ, պատմական գիտությունների թեկնածու Բենիամին Պողոսյանը, ՊԱՀՀ-ի պետի՝ կրթության գծով տեղակալ-Ռազմավարական պաշտպանական անվտանգային կրթության ազգային ինստիտուտի պետ, գնդապետ Սուրեն Դավթյանը, ով մասնակցել է Ջ. Մարշալի կենտրոնի բացման արարողությանը, ՊԱՀՀ-ի ԱՌՀԻ-ի Տարածաշրջանային ռազմավարական վերլուծությունների կենտրոնի պետ, պատմական գիտությունների թեկնածու Դավիթ Մանասյանը, ՊԱՀՀ-ի ԱՌՀԻ-ի Ազգային անվտանգության քաղաքականության և տեղեկատվական-հաղորդակցային տեխնոլոգիաների կենտրոնի պետ Արման Գրիգորյանը և ՊԱՀՀ-ի ԱՌՀԻ-ի գիտնական-վերլուծաբան, տնտեսական գիտությունների թեկնածու Ազատ Դավթյանը:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում տեղի ունեցավ մտքերի փոխանակում գիտակրթական համագործակցության հեռանկարների շուրջ: Հյուրերը կարևորեցին Հայաստանի ազգային անվտան­գության ռազմավարական ուղենիշների տեսական-մեթոդաբանական իմաստավորման, Հայաստանի պաշտպանական քաղաքականության պրոբլեմների մշակ­ման նպատա­կով, աշխարհի առաջատար գիտական դպրոցներում և մասնագիտական կենտրոններում (ԱՄՆ-ի Պաշտպանական ազգային համալսարան, Ջ. Մարշալի կենտրոն, Հարվարդի համալսարան, «ՌԷՆԴ» կորպորացիա և այլն) ՊԱՀՀ-ի գիտնական-վերլուծաբանների ստաժավորումներն ու անվտանգության բնագավառում գիտելիքների յուրացման նորարարական մեթոդների տեղայնացման փորձը:

Տեղեկանալով ՊԱՀՀ-ի ձեռքբերումներին ու զարգացմանը ուղղված ծրագրերին՝ հյուրերը բարձր գնահատեցին Համալսարանի մասնագիտական կարողություններն ու որակը: Մեծ հետաքրքրություն առաջացրեցին կիբեռանվտանգության ոլորտում ԱՄՆ-ի պետական գերազանցության կենտրոնի՝ Տեղեկատվության և կիբեռտարածության քոլեջի հետ գործընկերությամբ իրականացված Համալսարանի մշակումները, մասնավորապես՝ «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության կիբեռանվտանգության ազգային ռազմավարության նախագիծը»:
