Հայաստան ժամանած ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսականների խումբը սեպտեմբերի 19-ին այցելել է Հայաստանի ամերիկյան համալսարան, որտեղ հանդիպել է Հայաստանի ՏՏ հանրության ներկայացուցիչներին` քննարկելու բարձր տեխնոլոգիաների և ՏՀՏ ոլորտում հայ-ամերիկյան համագործակցությանն առնչվող հարցեր։

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ տրանսպորտի, կապի և տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների նախարարությունից, Հայաստանի կառավարության անունից հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են ՀՀ տրանսպորտի, կապի և տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների նախարարի տեղակալներ Բորիս Դեմիրխանյանը և Արման Խաչատրյանը, ովքեր ներկայացրել են հայկական կողմի հետաքրքրությունն ու պոտենցիալը ԱՄՆ-ի հետ բարձր տեխնոլոգիաների ոլորտում գործակցելու ուղղությամբ։

«Ցանկացած երկու երկրի միջև ձևավորված ճիշտ տնտեսական և քաղաքական հարաբերությունները դրական են անդրադառնում նաև գործարար միջավայրի վրա։ ԱՄՆ-ը մեր ՏՏ ընկերությունների արտադրանքի և լուծումների սպառման հիմնական շուկաներից է։ Եվ շատ կարևոր է պետական մակարդակով քննարկումների արդյունքում ապահովել մի միջավայր, որում բիզնեսն իրեն հարմարավետ կզգա։ Այսօր քննարկում ենք այն հիմնական մարտահրավերները, որոնք առկա են երկու երկրների միջև գործարար կապերի ընդլայնման ոլորտում. կրկնակի հարկման և ԱՄՆ-ից Հայաստան բարձր տեխնոլոգիաներ ներմուծելուն առնչվող խնդիրները»,- մանրամասնեց Բորիս Դեմիրխանյանը։

Նրա խոսքով՝ լավագույնը կլինի այն, որ հարկումն իրականացվի այն երկրում, որից տվյալ ապրանքը արտահանվում է։ Նա նաև հույս հայտնեց, որ կոնգրեսականների հետ այս հանդիպումը կնպաստի այս հիմնախնդիրների շուտափույթ լուծմանը, ինչի արդյունքում կձևավորվեն հայ-ամերիկյան ավելի արդյունավետ գործարար կապեր։ Հանդիպման ընթացքում հյուրերին ներկայացվել են նաև Հայաստանի ՏՀՏ ոլորտի արդի զարգացումները, ամերիկյան խոշոր ընկերությունների ներկայությունը Հայաստանում, ՏՏ մասնագետներ պատրաստող համալսարանների հաջողությունները և ոլորտի զարգացման ուղղությամբ իրականացվող կրթական ծրագրերը։

Ներկայացվել են նաև հեռահաղորդակցության ոլորտում Հայաստանի առաջընթացը, մասնավորապես, ինտերնետ և բջջային կապի լիարժեք հասանելիությունը հանրապետության ողջ տարածքում, նորագույն տեխնոլոգիաների ներդրումն ու օպերատորների միջև առողջ մրցակցությունը։ Կոնգրեսականները հիացմունքով լսել են նաև հայկական ստարտափերի վերջին տարիների հաջողության պատմությունները ոչ միայն Հայաստանի, այլև միջազգային, մասնավորապես, ամերիկյան շուկայի մասշտաբով։
