Բոլորում  է ութերորդ տարին,ինչ  «Հայ Օգնության Ֆոնդի» եւ գործընկեր կազմակերպությունների եւ առանձին բարերարների նյութական օժանդակությամբ   վերանորոգման եւ կահավորման լուրջ աշխատանքներ են իրականացվում Գավառի հատուկ դպրոցում:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրեց «ՀՕՖ»-ի փոխտնօրեն, ծրագրերի տնօրեն Մարգարիտա Փիլիպոսյանը, անցած ութ տարիների ընթացքում  իրենց կազմակերպության կողմից դպրոցում իրականացվել են տանիքի, դռների եւ պատուհանների հիմնանորոգման ու փոփման, ներքին հարդարման աշխատանքներ, ստեղծվել, կահավորվել եւ համապատասխան սարքավորումներով համալրվել են ֆիզիկական վերականգնողական եւ հոգեբանական աջակցության սենյակները, վերանորոգվել եւ սարքավորումներով ապահովվել են փայտամշակման, կավագործության, կերամիկայի, կարի, ասեղնագործության եւ կոշկակարության արհեստանոցները, ճաշարանը, խոհանոցն ու սանհանգույցները: «ՀՕՖ»-ի անդամ, «Գավառի հատուկ դպրոցի նյույորքյան գործընկերներ» կազմակերպության միջոցների հաշվին այս տարի դպրոցում տեղադրվել է վերելակ, դպրոցի երթեւեկող սաների համար տրամադրվել «Գազել» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենա:

Գավառի հատուկ դպրոցի տնօրեն Լարիսա Զազյանի հավաստմամբ՝  այս ուսումնական տարում  դպրոց  են հաճախում կրթության հատուկ պայմանների կարիք ունեցող 42 սաներ, որոնց զգալի մասը դպրոցում ընդգրկված են նաեւ տարբեր խմբակներում: Նրանց մի մասը երթեւեկում են, իսկ զգալի մասը գիշերում: Դպրոցի ֆիզկուլտուրայի  դասասենյակում  եւ վերականգնողական սենյակում վերապատրաստված մասնագետների օգնությամբ հենաշարժողական խնդիրներ ունեցող երեխաները զբաղվում  են վերականգնողական թերապիայով:

Բարերարների կողմից այս ուստարում հերթական այցը կատարվեց Գավառի հատուկ դպրոց, որտեղ նրանց հանդիպեցին  Գեղարքունիքի մարզպետ Կարեն Բոթոյանը  եւ Գավառի քաղաքապետ Գուրգեն Մարտիրոսյանը: Ղեկավար այրերը շրջեցին դպրոցում, ծանոթացան իրականացված աշխատանքներին, զրուցեցին հյուրերի հետ, ապա ներկա գտնվեցին հատուկ դպրոցի սաների մասնակցությամբ կազմակերպված միջոցառումը:  Գեղարքունիքի մարզպետ Կարեն Բոթոյանը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց «ՀՕՖ»-ի ղեկավարությանը եւ «Գավառի հատուկ դպրոցի նյույորքյան գործընկերներ» կազմակերպության ներկայացուցիչներին՝ դպրոցում իրականացված բարեգործական ձեռնարկների համար: Իսկ «Գավառի հատուկ դպրոցի նյույորքյան գործընկերներ» կազմակերպության ներկայացուցիչները վստահեցրին, որ բարեգործական ծրագրերն այս  դպրոցում կկրեն շարունակական բնույթ: «Շենքի նորոգման աշխատանքներն ավարտված են, սակայն մեր գործը դեռ չի ավարտվել,  որովհետեւ երեխաներուն կխորհինք զանազան ծրագիրներու մեջ բերել, որը կօգնե անոնց զարգացումին» -իր խոսքում նշեց «Գավառի հատուկ դպրոցի նյույորքյան գործընկերներ» կազմակերպության ղեկավար, բարերար Գրիգոր Գրիգորյանը:
