«Տիտանիկ» լեգենդար նավի մասին նկարահանված ֆիլմերը դիտածները, հավանաբար, կկարծեն, թե ամեն ինչ գիտեն դրա աղետալի կործանման մասին: Սակայն այս փաստերը, հավանաբար, շատ քչերին են հայտնի:
-Նավակներն ու վթարային ծառայությունը պետք է լիներ այնտեղ, որտեղ որ ուղևորներին նախօրոք պետք է մատնանշած լինեին, սակայն նման բան չի եղել և այդ պատճառով էլ զոհերի թիվն այդքան մեծ է եղել:
-Ֆիլմի այն տեսարանը, որտեղ երաժիշտները նվագում են մինչև նավի վերջնական խորտակումը, ստույգ համապատասխաում է իրականությանը: Նրանք նվագել են մի քանի ժամ շարունակ, մինչև որ նավը ջրասույզ է եղել:
-«Հյորշի» շոկոլադի ֆիրմայի տնօրեն, մեծահարուստ Միլթոն Հյորշին, նախապես գնել է «Տիտանիկի»-ի տոմս, սակայն հետաձգել է իր ուղևորությունը գործնական հանդիպման պատճառով:
-Փրկված ճապոնացին իր հայրենիքում արժանացել է վախկոտի կոչման, քանի որ չի մնացել ու մնացածների պես չի զոհվել:
-«Տիտանիկ»-ի լեգենդար 4 ծխնելույզներն, իրականում, խաբկանք են եղել՝ նավին առավել հզոր տեսք տալու համար: Գործնականում աշխատելիս է եղել դրանցից 3-ը միայն:
-«Տիտանիկ» ֆիլմի բյուջեն ավելի թանկ է եղել, քան հենց իրենը՝ նավինը:
-Այսբերգը, որին բախվել է նավը, հայտնվել է Քրիստոսից 1000 տարի առաջ:
-Կալիֆոռնիական նավը մոտ է եղել «Տիտանիկ»-ին և կարող էր փրկել նրա ուղևորներին, սակայն կապի ուշացման պատճառով դա տեղի չի ունեցել:
-Նավի գլխավոր խոհարարը ողջ է մնացել՝ սառը ջրի մեջ սառչելուց հետո: Նա այնքան ալկոհոլ է օգտագործած եղել, որ արյունը անոթներում չի սառել:
-«Տիտանիկ»-ը միակ նավն է եղել, որ կործանվել է այսբերգին բախլվելու հետևանքով:
-Փրկանավակները ամբողջովին ծանրաբեռնված չեն եղել մարդկանցով, դրա համար էլ նավի վրա շատ մարդ է մնացել:
-Այսբերգի հետ բախումից հնարավոր կլիներ խուսափել, եթե նավի կապիտանը ղեկը թեքեր 30 վայրկյան շուտ:
