ՀՀ կառավարությունը նախատեսում է ներդնել առավել բարենպաստ ազգային ռեժիմներ, ներդրումների պաշտպանության նվազագույն ստանդարտներ: Այդ նպատակով գործադիրը հավանություն տվեց «Օտարերկրյա ներդրումների մասին» ՀՀ օրենքում փոփոխություն կատարելու մասին» ՀՀ օրենքի նախագծին:

Տնտեսական զարգացման և ներդրումների նախարարի տեղակալ Հովհաննես Ազիզյանը նշեց, որ օրինագիծն ուղղված է ներդրումային ոլորտը կարգավորող օրենսդրական և ենթաօրենսդրական դաշտի կատարելագործմանը` օտարերկրյա ներդրումների ներգրավման, պաշտպանության և ներդրումային գործունեության հետ կապված տարաբնույթ խնդիրների լուծման միջոցով: «Միաժամանակ հստակեցվում են առկա սահմանումները, տրամադրվում են լրացուցիչ արտոնություններ, ամրագրվում են ներդրողների պաշտպանության նոր երաշխիքներ, սահմանվում է վեճերի լուծման նոր մեխանիզմ: Նախագծով ներդրվում են առավել բարենպաստ և ազգային ռեժիմներ, ինչպես նաև արդար և հավասար վերաբերմունքի սկզբունքը, ներդրումների պաշտպանության նվազագույն ստանդարտները»,-  ասաց փոխնախարարը:

Նրա խոսքով, նախատեսվել է նաև պետության հետ առկա վեճերի լուծման ժամանակ այլընտրանքային միջոցների (արբիտրաժի) կիրառման հնարավորություն:
