ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի փոխնախագահ, ՀՀԿ խոսնակ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը պաշտպանական համակարգում մեր երկրի համար Հավաքական անվտանգության պայմանագրի կազմակերպությանն այլընտրանք չի տեսնում: Շարմազանովն այդ մասին նշեց ՀՀԿ գործադիր մարմնի նիստից հետո:

«Այլընտրանքը Թուրքիան է, ինչը շատ վատն է: Բոլոր տարբերակների մեջ մենք պետք է ընտրենք այն տարբերակը, որը բխում է մեր շահերից: Շատ եմ խոսել Հայաստանի պաշտպանական և անվտանգային համակարգից ու այն ինչ ասել եմ՝ բխում է Հայաստանի ռազմական դոկտրինից, որևէ նոր բան չեմ ասել: Ես խնդիր չունեմ դուր գալու ոչ Արևմուտքին, ոչ ՌԴ-ին և ոչ որևէ մեկին: Հայաստանի երեք նախագահների օրոք էլ հայ-ռուսական դաշնակցային հարաբերությունները երբեք որևէ լուրջ այլընտրանք չեն ունեցել»,-  ասաց Շարմազանովը՝ հիշեցնելով, որ Թուրքիան ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ է, սպառնալիք է և սա Հայաստանի ռազմական դոկտրինից բխող կարծիք է:

ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահի խոսքով, մեզ նման երկրները պետք է կարողանան լիարժեք կազմակերպել իրենց անվտանգային համակարգը, սակայն միայնակ դա անելը հնարավոր չէ:

«Մենք ընտրել ենք ՀԱՊԿ-ն ոչ թե նրա համար, որ դուր գանք որևէ երկրի, այլ որովհետև դա ձեռնտու է Հայաստանին: Ռազմական դաշնակացային հարաբերությունների առումով հայ-ռուսական հարաբերություննում որևէ խնդիր չկա, բոլոր իրավապայմանագրային կետերն իրականացվում են: Տարածաշրջանում կա երկու բանակ՝ մեկը ռուսականը, մյուսը՝ թուրքականը: Մենք պետք է դաշնակցենք դրանցից մեկի հետ: Ո՞ւմ հետ դաշնակցենք, Թուրքիայի՞»,- հարց ուղղեց Շարմազանովը:

Նրա համոզմամբ՝ Հայաստանի շահն է պահանջում, որ լինենք ՀԱՊԿ-ում, այսօր չկա որևէ ռազմաքաղաքական դաշինք, որը կարող է ավելի շահեկան պայմաններ ստեղծել՝ քան հայ-ռուսական դաշնակցային համագործակցությունը: Որպես օրինակ նա նշեց ռազմական տեխնիկայի մատչելի գներով տրամադրումը:

«Իսկանդերները, իգլաները և մյուս զենքերը դրա արդյունք են: Իհարկե, Ռուսաստանը ևս ուն իր շահերը և մեր երկրների շահերը համընկել են»,- ասաց ՀՀԿ փոխնախագահը՝ շեշտելով՝ դա չի նշանակում, որ պետք է դադարենք այլ կառույցների հետ համագործակցելը:
