 Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը հոկտեմբերի 7-ին հեռախոսազրույց է ունեցել Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հետ, շնորհավորել և բարեմաղթանքներ հղել նրան հոբելյանի առթիվ: Ինչպես տեղեկացանք ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության եւ տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, հանրապետության Նախագահը նաև շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել ՌԴ նախագահին:
