ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների նախաձեռնությամբ Ժնևի ՄԱԿ-ի գրասենյակում և այլ միջազգային կազմակերպություններում Շվեյցարիայի մշտական ներկայացուցչի կեցավայրում կայացել են Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի նախագահների բանակցությունները:

Այս մասին տեղեկացնում է ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունը։

Հանդիպումը տեղի է ունեցել երկու երկրների արտաքին գործերի նախարարներ Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանի և Էլմար Մամեդյարովի, ինչպես նաև ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահներ Իգոր Պոպովի (Ռուսաստան), Էնդրյու Շեֆերի (ԱՄՆ), Ստեֆան Վիսկոնտիի (Ֆրանսիա) ու ԵԱՀԿ գործող նախագահի անձնական ներկայացուցիչ Անջեյ Կասպրշիկի մասնակցությամբ:

Հանդիպումից հետո կայացել է նախագահներ Սերժ Սարգսյանի և Իլհամ Ալիևի առանձնազրույցը:

Քննարկվել են Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հիմնախնդրի կարգավորման բանակցային գործընթացի առաջմղման հնարավորությունները: Բանակցությունների արդյունքում նախագահները համաձայնել են միջոցներ ձեռնարկել բանակցային գործընթացն ակտիվացնելու և հավելյալ քայլեր կատարելու շփման գծում լարվածությունը նվազեցնելու նպատակով:

Համանախագահները գոհունակություն են հայտնել երկար ընդմիջումից հետո կայացած ուղղակի բանակցությունների առթիվ: Նրանք ընդգծել են, որ պատրաստակամ են կողմերի հետ շարունակել միջնորդական աշխատանքը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության խաղաղ բանակցային կարգավորման ուղղությամբ:

Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարները և ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահները բանակցություններին արդյունքներով հանդես են եկել համատեղ հայտարարությամբ:

Ժնևում՝ Շվեյցարիայի Համադաշնությունում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության դեսպանատանը, Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր հանդիպում է ունեցել նաև շվեյցարահայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հետ: Հանրապետության Նախագահը հանդիպման ժամանակ իր ներածական խոսքում նաև ներկայացրել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահի հետ բանակցությունների արդյունքները: 

«Մի քանի րոպե առաջ Ադրբեջանի նախագահի հետ հանդիպումն ավարտվեց. որևէ կոնկրետ պայմանավորվածություն, այսպես ասած, չունենք, խնդրի լուծման տարբերակների մասին: Բայց պայմանավորվել ենք, որպեսզի միջոցներ ձեռնարկենք լարվածությունն էլ ավելի թուլացնելու, որպեսզի առաջնագծում չունենանք զոհեր: Պետք է ասեմ` և՛ Ադրբեջանի նախագահը, և՛ ես դրանում խորապես շահագրգռված ենք:

Տա Աստված, որ միշտ այդպես կարծի: Նա էլ շատ լավ է հասկանում խնդրի բարդությունը, բնականաբար, ես էլ, բայց խնդիրն այնպիսին է, որ հեշտ լուծում երբեք չի լինելու: Սակայն մի հարցում էլ ուզում եմ, որ բոլորդ վստահ լինեք` մեզ համար չկա լուծում, որը կարող է ինչ-որ կերպ խաթարել Ղարաբաղի անվտանգությունը: Մեզ համար միակ լուծումն այն է, որ Ղարաբաղը լինի Ադրբեջանից դուրս: Երբեք որևէ հայ ղեկավար չի կարող ընդունել այդպիսի որոշում և իրականացնել, և դրա համար մենք ամեն ինչ անելու ենք՝ զուգահեռ զարգացնելով Հայաստանը, տնտեսապես ամրապնդելով մեր երկիրը»,- ասել է Հանրապետության Նախագահը:
