Ատլանտյան օվկիանոսում ձևավորված ու Մեծ Բրիտանիա հասած «Օֆելիա» փոթորիկը, ահռելի ալիքներ առաջացնելուց, ծառեր տապալելուց ու օդը փոշով լցնելուց բացի, բոսորագույն արևի էֆեկտ է ստեղծել երկնքում:

Ինչպես նշում է The Daily Mail-ը, փոթորկի բերած փոշու ու աղբի մանր մնացորդների պատճառով երկինքը կարմրանարնջագույն է դարձել:

Օդերևութաբանների համաձայն՝ նախքան Մեծ Բրիտանիա հասնելը փոթորիկը հավաքել է Սահարա անապատի փոշին, Իսպանիայում ու Պորտուգալիայում մոլեգնող անտառային հրդեհների մոխիրն ու ծուխը, ինչի պատճառով Միացյալ Թագավորության երկնքում նման պատկեր է ստեղծվել:
