Պորտուգալիայի կենտրոնական և հյուսիսային հատվածներում և իսպանական Գալիսիա ինքնավար համայնքի հյուսիս-արևմուտքում մոլեգնող հրդեհների հետևանքով առնվազն 45 մարդ է զոհվել, հայտնում է NDTV-ն:


Բացի այդ, 71 մարդ է տուժել Պորտուգալիայում, որտեղ հրդեհները մոլեգնում են անցած շաբաթվա վերջից: Վիրավորներից 16-ի վիճակը ծանր է: Հայտնի է դարձել նաև, որ ավելի վաղ կորած համարվող յոթ մարդուց վեցին հաջողվել է փրկել:


Պորտուգալիայում անտառային հրդեհների մակերեսը չորս օրվա ընթացքում կազմել է 240 հազար հեկտար: Երկրում հրդեհի զոհերի հիշատակին եռօրյա սուգ է հայտարարվել:
