Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Մարտունի քաղաքում շահագործման է հանձնվել ՀՀ Առողջապահության նախարարության «Հիվանդությունների վերահսկման եւ կանխարգելման ազգային կենտրոն» ՊՈԱԿ «Գեղարքունիք» մասնաճյուղի մարզային լաբորատոր կենտրոնի նորակառույց շենքը: Շենքի բացման արարողությանը մասնակցել են ՀՀ Առողջապահության նախարար Լեւոն Ալթունյանը, ՀՀ ԱՆ ՀՎԿԱԿ գլխավոր տնօրեն Ա. Վանյանը, Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլսը, Մարտունու քաղաքապետ Արմեն Ավետիսյանը, մարզի առողջապահական կենտրոնների տնօրենները,միջազգային կառույցների ներկայացուցիչներ:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրեց ՀՀ Առողջապահության նախարարության «Հիվանդությունների վերահսկման եւ կանխարգելման կենտրոն» ՊՈԱԿ «Գեղարքունիք» մասնաճյուղի տնօրեն Գոհար Սարգսյանը, նորակառույց մարզային լաբորատոր կենտրոնը միջազգային չափանիշներին համապատասխանող կառույց է, որտեղ գործում են մանրէաբանական, մակաբուծաբանական, շճաբանական եւ սանիտարաքիմիական լաբորատորիաներ: Լաբորատոր կենտրոնը կառուցվել եւ վերազինվել է ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության դեպարտամենտի ֆինանսական միջոցներով:

«Լաբորատորիան արդիականացված է եւ հագեցած ժամանակակից սարքավորումներով: Մասնագետները վերապատրաստվել են միջազգային չափորոշիչներին համապատասխան: Որպեսզի այսպիսի բարձրակարգ լաբորատորիայում կատարվող հետազոտություններն իրենց որակով համեմատելի լինեն միջազգային չափանիշներին, առողջապահության նախարարությունն աշխատանքներ է տանում նաեւ որակի կառավարման ընդհանուր համակարգ ներդնելու ուղղությամբ:

Հիմնովին նոր կառուցված, ժամանակակից սարքավորումներով հագեցված, միջազգային չափանիշներին համապատասխանող մեր մարզային լաբորատորիան հնարավորություն կտա՝ նվազեցնել կենսաբանական վտանգները, ներդնել հետազոտության նորագույն մեթոդներ, ախտորոշել այնպիսի հիվանդություններ, որոնց ախտորոշումն այս մակարդակում մինչ օրս անհնար է եղել, օպերատիվ ախտորոշել մարզում շրջանառող վարակը, նպատակային կազմակերպել հակահամաճարակային միջոցառումները եւ ժամանակին կանխարգելել համաճարակի բռնկումը՝ դրանով իսկ ապահովելով մեր ազգաբնակչության համաճարակաբանական անվտանգությունը:

Նոր լաբորատորիան հնարավորություն է տալիս՝ ընդլայնել հետազոտության ոլորտները, ներդնել հետազոտությունների նոր մեթոդներ, մեծացնել հետազոտությունների սպեկտրը՝ ավելացնելով նաեւ հանրային առողջապահության ոլորտում հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող բոլոր այն հետազոտությունները, որոնք հնարավոր է իրականացնել իմունաֆերմենտային եւ ֆլուորեսցենտային սարքավորումներով: Նման կենտրոնի առկայությունը թույլ կտա մեզ, բացի գործնական աշխատանքների կատարումից, մասնակցել նաեւ գիտաուսումնական աշխատանքների»,-ներկայացրեց Գոհար Սարգսյանը:
