Արդյունաբերական չորրորդ հեղափոխության ուղին բռնած աշխարհում Հայաստանը չափազանց լավ հնարավորություն ունի խթանելու իր զարգացումը։ «Մեքենայական ուսուցումը՝ գիտական հայտնագործությունների խթան» թեմայով Հայաստանի գիտության և տեխնոլոգիաների հիմնադրամի (Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology-FAST) և ԱՄՆ գիտության ազգային հիմնադրամի (US National Science Foundation-NSF) համատեղ կազմակերպած միջազգային աշխատաժողովի բացման արարողության ժամանակ հայտարարեց ՀՀ վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանը։ Նա շնորհակալություն հայտնեց միջոցառման նախաձեռնողներին ու հյուրերին Հայաստան այցելելու և հայ մասնագետների հետ իրենց փորձը կիսելու պատրաստակամության համար։ Վարչապետը նկատեց, որ FAST-ն իր գործընկերների հետ կարող է ստանձնել ինտեգրատորի դերը՝ ապահովելով գիտության ու տեխնոլոգիաների ոլորտում աշխարհի լավագույն մասնագետների կապը հայ մասնագետների հետ։ «Այսօրվա աշխարհը անցնում է չորրորդ արդյունաբերական հեղափոխության փուլով, տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաները, արհեստական բանականությունը, ամպային լուծումները, վերականգնվող էներգիայի ստացման նորագույն մեթոդներն առանցքային տեղ են զբաղեցնում աշխարհն առաջ տանելու գործընթացում։ Համոզված եմ, որ կհաջողեն այն երկրները, որոնք արագ կադապտացվեն նոր իրավիճակին ու կլինեն նորարարություն ստեղծող ու առաջարկող»,-ասաց վարչապետը։

Նա նշեց, որ պետությունը պատրաստ է նպաստել անհրաժեշտ էկոհամակարգի, ինովացիոն կամպուսների ստեղծմանն ամբողջ երկրով մեկ՝ ժամանակակից տեխնոլոգիական ու գիտելիքահեն տնտեսություն ապահովելու համար։

«Մեզ բոլորիս՝ կառավարությանը, սփյուռքի ու Հայաստանի այն անհատներին, ովքեր միավորված են FAST-ում, առաջ է մղում մի նպատակ՝ մենք ուզում ենք ունենալ առաջադեմ ազգ՝ Հայաստանի համար գլոբալ մակարդակում տեղ ապահովելով»,-եզրափակեց Կարեն Կարապետյանը։

Հայաստանի գիտության և տեխնոլոգիաների հիմնադրամը ձևավորվել է 2017-ի ապրիլին՝ նպատակ ունենալով դառնալ համալիր հարթակ գիտական ու տեխնոլոգիանական զարգացման համար Հայաստանում և դրա սահմաններից դուրս։
