ՀՀ վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանը հոկտեմբերի 19-ին ընդունել է Հայաստանի գիտության և տեխնոլոգիաների հիմնադրամի (Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology-FAST) և ԱՄՆ գիտության ազգային հիմնադրամի (US National Science Foundation-NSF) միջազգային համատեղ աշխատաժողովի կազմակերպիչներին և մասնակիցներին:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, վարչապետը ևս մեկ անգամ շնորհակալություն է հայտնել կազմակերպիչներին՝ միջազգային աշխատաժողովը նախաձեռնելու համար և նշել, որ կառավարությունը մեծ հույսեր է կապում տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների, կրթության և գիտության ոլորտների զարգացման  ուղղությամբ ձեռնարկվող նման կարևոր քայլերի հետ: 

«Մենք կարծում ենք, որ ձեզ հետ միասին Հայաստանում որակական փոփոխություններ անելու  հնարավորություն ունենք: Ոչ միայն պատրաստ ենք, այլև մեր ողջ ներուժով կանենք հնարավոր ամեն ինչ՝ համագործակցությունը զարգացնելու և առաջընթաց արձանագրելու համար», - նշել է կառավարության ղեկավարը:

NSF-FAST աշխատաժողովի կազմակերպիչներն ու մասնակիցները շնորհակալություն են հայտնել Կարեն Կարապետյանին՝ համագործակցության և աջակցության պատրաստակամության համար ու նշել, որ Հայաստանն ունի անհրաժեշտ ներուժ՝ աշխարհում տեխնոլոգիապես առաջատար դիրք զբաղեցնելու, աճ ու զարգացում արձանագրելու համար: Նրանք գոհունակություն են հայտնել այսօր աշխատաժողովի շրջանակում տեղի ունեցած քննարկումների ընթացքի և արդյունքների կապակցությամբ, որոնք բավական արդյունավետ են եղել՝ կապեր հաստատելու և ոլորտի զարգացման հնարավորությունները քննարկելու առումով:

«Մենք՝ պաշտոնյաներս, թարմ որոշումներ կայացնելու, թարմ հայացքով ամեն ինչին նայելու խնդիր ունենք, և շատ կարևոր է, որ ի դեմս FAST հիմնադրամի, այս միջավայրը մեզ համար մշտապես առաջ մղող  ուժ, անկախ դիտորդ լինի:

Մենք բաց ենք և պատրաստ մաքսիմալ արձագանքել ձեր կողմից բարձրացվող հարցադրումներին, որովհետև եթե այս անգամ էլ բաց թողնենք այն նոր հնարավորությունը, որը երկրներին տրվում է արագ փոփոխություններ անելու համար, կարող ենք կորցնել հնարավորությունը: Այդ իսկ պատճառով եթե կա մի հարթակ, որտեղ գեներացվում են գաղափարները, և պաշտոնյաներից պետք է աջակցություն, մենք պատրաստ ենք դա անել», - անդրադառնալով FAST-ի գործունեությանը՝ ասել է կառավարության ղեկավարը:

Հանդիպմանը քննարկվել են տեխնոլոգիաներ-կրթություն-գիտություն կապի ապահովմանը և արդյունավետ շղթայի ձևավորմանը, այդ համատեքստում Հայաստան-Սփյուռք համագործակցության զարգացմանը, առկա ներուժի լիարժեք իրացմանը, Հայաստանի թվային օրակարգի իրագործմանը, տեխնոլոգիական կրթության համար անհրաժեշտ ենթակառուցվածքների և պայմանների ստեղծմանը վերաբերող, ինչպես նաև մի շարք այլ հարցեր:
