RG .ru-ն հղում տալով Ելիսեյան պալատի տարածած պաշտոնական հայտարարութանը գրում է, որ Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Ֆրանսուա Օլանդը հարաբերություններ կպահպանի ինչպես ԵՄ գործընկերների, այնպես էլ Ռուսաստանի հետ` Մոկսվայի կողմից պատասխան սանկցիաների կիրառման հետ կապված իրավիճակը պարզելու ու ելքեր գտնելու համար: «Նախագահ Օլանդը սերտ հարաբերություններ կպահպանի ինչպես իր եվրոպացի գործընկերների, այնպես էլ նախագահ Պուտինի հետ, որպեսզի ստեղծված ճգնաժամից դուրս գալու ուղիներ որոնեն»,- ասված է հայտարարության մեջ: Նշվում է նաև, որ այս պահին խորհրդակցություններ են ընթանում Եվրահանձնաժողովի հետ, որպեսզի ճշտվեն էմբարգոյի հնարավոր հետևանքներն ու վնասների չափերը: Դրանք անհրաժեշտ են այն միջոցառումների համար, որոնք կիրականացվեն համահունչ իրավիճակի լրջությանը: Պաշտոնական Փարիզը չի բացառում Առևտրի Համաշխարհային կազմակերպությանը դիմելու տարբերակը ռուսական միջոցառումների օրինականությունն ու իրավաչափությունը ճշտելու համարր: Ֆրանսուա Օլանդի գրասենյակը նաև տեղեկացրել է, որ պետությունն իր ուշադրության կենտրոնում կպահի ու կաջակցի գոյւղմթերքներ ու սնունդ արտադրող այն անհատներին ֆերմերներին ու ընկերություններին, որոնք կտուժվեն այս իրավիճակից, կամ արդեն կանգնել են դժվարությունների առաջ: Այս մասին լրացուցիչ պայմանավորվածություններ են ձեռք բերվել Գյուղատնտեսական արհիմություննորի ազգային ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ Քսավիե Բելենի հետ նախագահ Օլանդի հանդիպման ժամանակ:
