ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարար Լևոն Մկրտչյանն ընդունել է Հայաստանում Հնդկաստանի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Սանգվան Յոգեշվարին: Կարևորելով Հայաստանում Հնդկաստանի դեսպանատան գործունեությունը հայ-հնդկական կրթական համագործակցության ամրապնդման և զարգացման գործում՝ ԿԳ նախարարն ընդգծել է, որ առկա է մեծ ներուժ այդ շրջանակը տարբեր ուղղություններով ընդլայնելու համար: Այդ համատեքստում  Լևոն Մկրտչյանն անդրադարձել է ինժեներական և տեխնոլոգիական մասնագիտությունների գծով  հնդիկ ուսանողների ներգավման խնդրին, մասնավորապես դիտարկվել է ԵՊՀ-ում, ՀՊՃՀ-ում և Հայ-ռուսական համալսարանում կրթության կազմակերպաման հնարավորությունը: Ինժեներական մասնագիտությունների ուղղությամբ համագործակցության հնարավորությունը դիտարկվել է նաև նախնական և միջին մասնագիտական կրթության ոլորտում, մասնավորապես քննարկվել է հնդկական կողմի աջակցությամբ համատեղ ուսումնական հաստատություն հիմնելու հնարավորությունը: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարարության հասարակայնության հետ կապերի և տեղեկատվության վարչությունից:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում ՀՀ ԿԳ նախարարն անդրադարձել է նաև գիտության ոլորտում հայ-հնդկական համագործակցության ուղղությամբ գործնական քայլերի իրականացման անհրաժեշտությանը:

Իր հերթին դեսպան  Յոգեշվարը,  շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ոլորտում առկա համագործակցության առնչությամբ, հավաստիացրել է, որ դեսպանատունը գործուն մասնակցություն կունենա կրթության համակարգի տարբեր օղակներում համագործակցության ակտիվացման և կոնկրետ ծրագրերի իրականացման գործում:
