ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահ Արա Բաբլոյանը նոյեմբերի 2-ին ընդունել է Եվրոպայի խորհրդի ժողովրդավարության հարցերով գլխավոր տնօրինության գլխավոր տնօրեն Սնեժանա Սամարջիչ-Մարկովիչին:

Ողջունելով հյուրին՝ Արա Բաբլոյանը կարեւորել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության եւ Եվրոպայի խորհրդի համագործակցությունը, մասնավորապես ժողովրդավարության կայացման, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության բնագավառներում, կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարում:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ հանրային կապերի վարչությունից, ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահի խոսքով՝ ԵԽ-ի եւ ԵՄ-ի կողմից աջակցության «Համագործակցություն լավ կառավարման համար» համատեղ ծրագրի առաջին փուլի ավարտի արդյունքում Հայաստանում իրագործվել է չորս ազգային ծրագիր՝ արձանագրելով մեր երկրի պատրաստակամությունը կյանքի կոչելու նախատեսված ձեռնարկները:

Արա Բաբլոյանը, անդրադառնալով սահմանադրական բարեփոխումներին հաջորդող գործընթացներին, նշել է, որ Հայաստանն ընթանում է ժողովրդավարության ուղիով՝ հստակ տարբերվելով տարածաշրջանի մի շարք երկրներից, ձգտելով իշխանության ապակենտրոնացման եւ անցում կատարելով կառավարման խորհրդարանական համակարգին:

ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահը նշել է, որ լինելով ԵՏՄ անդամ՝ Հայաստանը պատրաստ է բաց ու անկաշկանդ համագործակցել աշխարհի տարբեր երկրների հետ:

Խորհրդարանի ղեկավարն անդրադարձել է քննարկվող «Ընտանեկան բռնության կանխարգելման եւ ընտանեկան բռնության ենթարկված անձանց պաշտպանության մասին» օրենքի նախագծին՝ կարեւորելով օրինագծի մասին հանրության իրազեկվածությունը, քանի որ հաճախ մարդիկ լիարժեք պատկերացում չունեն, թե ինչի մասին է խոսքը:

Սնեժանա Սամարջիչ-Մարկովիչը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ընդունելության համար՝ կարեւորելով Հայաստանի համագործակցությունը ԵԽ-ի հետ: Տիկին Սամարջիչ-Մարկովիչը համաձայնել է ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահի այն կարծիքին, թե Հայաստանն իրոք տարբերվում է տարածաշրջանի մի շարք երկրներից՝ ժողովրդավարության եւ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության հարցերում զգալի առաջընթաց գրանցելով ու տպավորելով եվրոպացի գործընկերներին:

Անդրադառնալով տարածաշրջանային զարգացումներին՝ Սնեժանա Սամարջիչ-Մարկովիչը նշել է, որ վերջին շրջանում Ադրբեջանի պահվածքն իրոք անհանգստացնող է եւ մտահոգիչ:

Ընդգծելով «Ընտանեկան բռնության կանխարգելման եւ ընտանեկան բռնության ենթարկված անձանց պաշտպանության մասին» օրենքի նախագծի կարեւորությունը՝ տիկին Սամարջիչ-Մարկովիչը հույս է հայտնել, որ այն կընդունվի ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի կողմից:

Հանդիպման ավարտին զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձել են ԵՄ երկրներում եւ Հայաստանում երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանությանը, բռնությունների կանխարգելմանը վերաբերող հարցերի:
