Նոյեմբերի 1-2-ը ՀՀ ԱԳՆ գլխավոր քարտուղար Շահեն Ավագյանը Բուխարեստում մասնակցել է Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի Միջազգային Կազմակերպության «Ստեղծագործում, նորարարություն, ձեռնարկատիրություն, տնտեսական աճ և զարգացում. Կանայք հաստատվում են» խորագրով միջազգային համաժողովին, որը ՖՄԿ գլխավոր քարտուղարի մասնակցությամբ անցնում էր Ռումինիայի նախագահի բարձր հովանու ներքո:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտգործնախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, համաժողովին ներկա էին ՖՄԿ անդամ երկրների նախագահներ, նախարարներ, ՄԱԿ-ի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներ, Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի կառույցների ղեկավարներ, դիվանագետներ, կանանց խնդիրներով զբաղվող հասարակական կազմակերպությունների ղեկավարներ, ձեռնարկատերեր, մշակութային գործիչներ:

Համաժողովի ընթացքում ելույթներով հանդես եկան Ռումինիայի նախագահ Կլաուս Յոհաննիսը, այլ երկրների ղեկավարներ, ՖՄԿ Գլխավոր քարտուղար տիկին Միքաել Ժանը, ՄԱԿ-ի գործադիր տնօրենի տեղակալ Յանիկ Գլեմարեկը, Խաղաղության Նոբելյան մրցանակակիր Ուիդեդ Բուշամաուին (Թունիս): Համաժողովի եզրափակիչ մասում իր ամփոփիչ ելույթի ընթացքում ՀՀ ԱԳՆ գլխավոր քարտուղար Շահեն Ավագյանը ներկայացրեց համաժողովի թեմատիկայի ուղղությամբ ՀՀ գործադիր և օրենսդիր մարմինների կողմից իրականացվող քայլերը: 

ՀՀ ԱԳՆ գլխավոր քարտուղարը մասնակիցներին տեղեկացրեց նաև 2018թ. հոկտեմբերին Երևանում կայանալիք ՖՄԿ 17-րդ Գագաթնաժողովի նախապատրաստական աշխատանքների և հարակից այլ միջոցառումների մասին:

Շահեն Ավագյանը Բուխարեստում հանդիպում ունեցավ նաև Ռումինիայի ԱԳ նախարար Թեոդոր Մելեշկանուի հետ, որի ընթացքում կողմերը քննարկվեցին երկկողմ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող հարցեր և անդրադարձ կատարեցին հետագա համագործակցությանն ուղղված քայլերին:
