Հնդկաստան աշխատանքային այցի շրջանակներում Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը Նյու Դելիում այսօր հանդիպում է ունեցել Հնդկաստանի Հանրապետության փոխնախագահ, խորհրդարանի վերին պալատի նախագահ Վենկայա Նայդուի հետ:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, շնորհակալություն հայտնելով բարեկամ Հնդկաստանում իր գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը ջերմ ընդունելության արժանացնելու համար` Նախագահը հայ-հնդկական միջպետական հարաբերությունների ամրապնդման գործում մեծապես կարևորել է միջխորհրդարանական ակտիվ համագործակցությունը:

Ջերմությամբ հիշելով ընթացիկ տարվա գարնանը Հայաստանում Հնդկաստանի նախկին փոխնախագահ Մոհամմեդ Համեդ Անսարիի հետ հանդիպումը և հայ-հնդկական հարաբերություններին առնչվող հարցերի արդյունավետ քննարկումը` Սերժ Սարգսյանը հույս է հայտնել, որ Հայաստան այցելելու հնարավորություն կգտնի նաև պարոն Նայդուն, ում` որպես ասիական տարածաշրջանի խորհրդարանական ամենամեծ ժողովրդավարության լուրջ ավանդույթներ ունեցող երկրի փոխնախագահի, սիրով կհյուրընկալեն մեր երկրում: Այդ այցը, Նախագահ Սարգսյանի համոզմամբ, մեծ ազդեցություն կունենա երկկողմ միջպետական կապերի և հատկապես խորհրդարանական հարաբերությունների սերտացման գործում:

Փոխնախագահ Նայդուն, ողջունելով բարձրաստիճան հյուրին և նրա գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը, նշել է, որ հինավուրց պատմություն ու հարուստ մշակույթ ունեցող հնդիկ և հայ ժողովուրդները քաղաքակրթական ու արժեքային բազմաթիվ ընդհանրություններ և սերտ առնչություններ ունեն, նրանք արարող, խաղաղասեր և հյուրընկալ են, ուստի անհրաժեշտ է երկուստեք հետևողականորեն շարունակել դարավոր բարեկամությունը պահպանելու և ամրապնդելու ուղղությամբ աշխատանքը, ինչպես նաև` միավորելու ջանքերը համամարդկային արդի մարտահրավերների դեմ պայքարում, որոնցից մեկն էլ ահաբեկչությունն է: 

Հնդկաստանի Հանրապետության փոխնախագահ, խորհրդարանի վերին պալատի նախագահը և Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը համակարծիք են եղել, որ երկու երկրների հայացքներն ու մոտեցումները համընկնում են նաև միջազգային կառույցների, այդ թվում` ՄԱԿ-ի բարեփոխումների անհրաժեշտության հարցում, որպեսզի վերջիններս կարողանան ժամանակի պահանջներին համահունչ արձագանքել մարտահրավերներին:

Նախագահը զրուցակցին տեղեկացրել է, որ Հայաստանի նորընտիր խորհրդարանում արդեն ձևավորվել է Հնդկաստանի հետ բարեկամության պատգամավորական խումբ և հայ-հնդկական կապերի ակտիվացման գործում կարևոր է համարել ինչպես խորհրդարանական խմբերի, այնպես էլ բարձրաստիճան փոխայցերի հաճախակի կազմակերպումը: Զրուցակիցները երկուստեք տեսակետ են հայտնել, որ միջխորհրդարանական միջազգային հարթակներում ևս երկու բարեկամ երկրների պատվիրակները կարող են հաջողությամբ շարունակել ու խորացնել համագործակցությունը:

Հանդիպմանն անդրադարձ է եղել նաև երկկողմ առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերություններին և դրանց զարգացման հնարավորություններին, Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանում իրավիճակին ու առկա մարտահրավերներին, այդ թվում` ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի կարգավորման բանակցային գործընթացին: Փոխնախագահ Նայդուն կարևորել է բոլոր հակամարտությունները բացառապես երկխոսության և խաղաղ ճանապարհով լուծելու անհրաժեշտությունը:
