Արամ Խաչատրյանի անվան ֆիլհարմոնիայի մեծ դահլիճում նոյեմբերի 6-ին կայացավ Հայաստանի կոմպոզիտորների միության 85-ամյակին նվիրված հանդիսավոր երեկո, որին ներկա էր ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը:

Հանրապետության ղեկավարը շնորհավորեց Միությանը կազմավորման 85-ամյակի կապակցությամբ՝ մաղթելով ստեղծագործական նոր հաջողություններ ի փառս հայ երաժշտարվեստի և հայ ժողովրդի, ինչպես նաև հոգատարություն կոմպոզիտորների ստեղծագործությունների նկատմամբ:

Միության հոբելյանի կապակցությամբ Սերժ Սարգսյանը երաժշտարվեստի բնագավառում ունեցած ակնառու վաստակի, ներդրած նշանակալի ավանդի համար, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանի կոմպոզիտորների միության հիմնադրման 85-ամյակի առթիվ պետական բարձր պարգևներ հանձնեց և կոչումներ շնորհեց միության անդամ մի խումբ արվեստագետների. Հայաստանի կոմպոզիտորների միության նախագահ Արամ Սաթյանը պարգևատրվեց «Հայրենիքին մատուցած ծառայությունների համար» առաջին աստիճանի մեդալով, կոմպոզիտոր, դաշնակահար Ստեփան Շաքարյանին շնորհվեց ժողովրդական արտիստի պատվավոր կոչում, երաժշտարվեստի բնագավառում ունեցած ներդրման համար «Մովսես Խորենացի» մեդալով պարգևատրվեցին Արմեն Բուդաղյանը և Սուրեն Զաքարյանը։

Հայաստանի կոմպոզիտորների միության նախագահը լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց, որ  միությունը դեռ շատ անելիքներ ունի։ «Կոմպոզիտորների միությունը դեռ 85 տարեկան է և բազում անելիքներ ունի։ Այն դեռ երիտասարդ է, քանի որ ամբողջ աշխարհում կոմպոզիտորների ինստիտուտներն արդեն մոտ 500 տարեկան են»,-ասաց Սաթյանը և կարևորեց այն փաստը, որ կոմպոզիտորների դպրոցը դեռ պետք է զարգանա։ 

Միության նախագահն ընդգծեց, որ կառույցը նաև միջազգային բերերին ստեղծագործությունները ներկայացնելու խնդիր ունի։ Նրա պնդմամբ՝ կոմպոզիտորների գործերը պետք է հնչեն ոչ միայն Հայաստանում, այլև արտասահմանում։ «Այսօր մեծ գործընթաց է ընթանում, որպեսզի մենք կարողանանք հնչել նաև այլ երկրներում: Կարծես թե ստացվում է»,- ասաց Արամ Սաթյանը։ 

Երեկոն եզրափակվեց Հայ ժամանակակից երաժշտության 4-րդ փառատոնի փակման համերգով: Փառատոնի նպատակն է հանրայնացնել և երաժշտասեր հանրությանը ներկայացնել հայ ժամանակակից կոմպոզիտորական դպրոցի ներկայացուցիչների ստեղծագործությունները:
