Հովհաննես Այվազովսկու ծննդյան 200-ամյակին նվիրված Ֆիլատելիստական ցուցահանդեսին ներկայացված էին ինչպես Հայաստանում, այնպես էլ Արցախում և այլ երկրներում ապրող ֆիլատելիստների հավաքածուներ: Ցուցահանդեսի շրջանակում նոյեմբերի 7-ին Երևանի պատմության թանգարանում մարվեց և շրջանառության մեջ դրվեց հինգ նամականիշով գեղաթերթիկ: Դրանք վերաբերում են «Աշխարհահռչակ հայեր. Հովհաննես Այվազովսկու ծննդյան 200-ամյակը» թեմային: 
«Հովհաննես Այվազովսկին մեծություն է ինչպես հայ, այնպես էլ այլազգի արվեստասերների համար: Նմանատիպ ցուցահանդեսները, նամականիշների մարումներն էական նշանակություն ունեն մեզ համար: Դրանք իրազեկման հիանալի միջոց են. աշխարհի տարբեր երկրների ֆիլատելիստները  ճանաչում են մեր մեծերին, ծանոթանում մեր կատարած աշխատանքին»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` նշեց Հայաստանի ֆիլատելիստների միության նախագահ Հովիկ Մուսայելյանը:

Հայաստանի նկարիչների միության նախագահ Կարեն Աղամյանի խոսքով` Հովհաննես Այվազովսկու հանճարը պատկանում է համայն մարդկությանը և պատահական չէ, որ բազմաթիվ պետություններ իրենց դրոշմանիշերում անդրադառնում են մեծագույն վարպետին:

Գեղաթերթիկի 170, 220, 230, 380 և 450 ՀՀ դրամ անվանական արժեքով  նամականիշների վրա արտահայտված են  մեծանուն հայազգի ծովանկարիչ Հովհաննես Այվազովսկու հայտնի կտավներից հինգը` պատկերված եռաչափ ցուցասրահի խորապատկերին:

Հինգ նամականիշով գեղաթերթիկը տպագրվել է Ֆրանսիայի «Cartor» տպագրատանը` 30 000 տպաքանակով: Գեղաթերթիկի գաղափարը պատկանում է «ՀայՓոստ թրասթ մենեջմենթի» գլխավոր տնօրեն Խուան Պաբլո Գեչիջյանին: Դիզայնի հեղինակներն են Աննա Աբգարյանը և Հարություն Սամուելյանը:
