Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր ընդունել է ԵԽԽՎ մոնիտորինգային հանձնաժողովի Հայաստանի մասով համազեկուցողներ Ալան Միլին և Ջուզեպպե Գալատիին: 

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ողջունելով հյուրերին՝ Հանրապետության Նախագահը Հայաստանում ժողովրդավարության ամրապնդման տեսանկյունից կարևորել է ԵԽԽՎ մոնիտորինգային գործընթացը և ընդգծել, որ Եվրոպայի խորհրդի հետ համագործակցությունը, որի արդյունքում վերջին տարիներին բավականաչափ առաջընթաց է արձանագրվել մարդու իրավունքների, ժողովրդավարության ու օրենքի գերակայության ոլորտներում, բխում է Հայաստանի շահերից:

Նախագահն ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանը ևս իր դրական նպաստն է բերել համաեվրոպական այդ կարևոր կառույցի զարգացմանն ու ամրապնդմանը՝ մշտապես հավատարիմ մնալով ԵԽ անդամակցությամբ ստանձնած հանձնառությունների պատշաճ իրականացմանը: ԵԽԽՎ համազեկուցողների հետ հանդիպումները, Նախագահ Սարգսյանի գնահատմամբ, մշտապես անցնում են բաց և կառուցողական մթնոլորտում, որն օգնում է աշխատանքները տանել ճիշտ ուղղությամբ և ունենալ դրական արդյունքներ:

Նախագահը նկատել է, որ համազեկուցողների այցը համընկել է Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցող համակարգային բարեփոխումների կարևոր շրջափուլի հետ, որն աննախադեպ է թե՛ ընտրական գործընթացների նկատմամբ հանրության վստահության աճի և թե՛ ընտրություններին հաջորդած հասարակական կոնսենսուսի ձևավորման տեսանկյունից, ինչն էլ արժանացել է միջազգային դիտորդական առաքելությունների, այդ թվում՝ ԵԽԽՎ պատվիրակության դրական գնահատականին: 

Սերժ Սարգսյանը ևս մեկ անգամ ընդգծել է, որ Եվրոպայի խորհուրդը Հայաստանում բարեփոխումների իրականացման հարցում կարևոր գործընկեր է, որի հետ մեր երկիրը շահագրգիռ է շարունակելու ակտիվ համագործակցությունը: Նկատի առնելով, որ համազեկուցողի պաշտոնում սա Ալան Միլի վերջին այցն է Հայաստան, Սերժ Սարգսյանը բարձր է գնահատել նրա գործունեությունը, որը եղել է կառուցողական և ի նպաստ առկա խնդիրների արդյունավետ լուծման:

Համազեկուցողները գոհունակությամբ են արձանագրել այն փոփոխությունները, որ նկատել են Հայաստան իրենց հերթական այցի ընթացքում: Նրանք դրվատանքով են խոսել սիրիահայ փախստականներին իրենց նախնիների պատմական հայրենիքում՝ Հայաստանում ընդունելու և զգալի աջակցություն ցուցաբերելու մասին, նշելով, որ դա լավ օրինակ կարող է հանդիսանալ նաև աշխարհի այլ պետությունների և ժողովուրդների համար:

Համազեկուցողները շնորհավորել են Հանրապետության Նախագահին երկրում նկատելի առաջընթացի կապակցությամբ և նշել, որ ԵԽ-ի կողմից գնահատելի է եղել պետական կառավարման կիսանախագահական համակարգից ավելի ժողովրդավարական՝ խորհրդարանական համակարգին անցնելու Հայաստանի քայլը, ինչպես նաև այն հետևողականությունը, որ երկիրը ցուցաբերում է սահմանադրական փոփոխություններից բխող բարեփոխումների իրականացման ուղղությամբ: Համազեկուցողներ Ալան Միլը և Ջուզեպպե Գալատին հույս են հայտնել, որ Հայաստանում այսուհետ ևս լավագույն ջանքը կներդրվի ամրապնդելու ժողովրդավարությունը և Հայաստանի դիրքերն աշխարհում:

Հանդիպմանն անդրադարձ է եղել նաև ԵԱՀԿ ՄԽ համանախագահների միջնորդությամբ ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի լուծման բանակցային գործընթացին:
