Վիգեն Սարգսյանի ծառայած լինել-չլինելու հարցն օրակարգային դարձավ, երբ նախկին ՊՆ Սեյրան Օհանյանի տիկինը՝ Ռուզաննա Խաչատրյանը, կատարեց սկանդալային գրառում: Եթե մի պահ վերանանք այն հանգամանքից, թե ո՞վ է արել այդ գրառումը, ամեն դեպքում, օրակարգային է դառնում այն հարցը, թե նման ձեռնարկներով հանդես եկող անձը, ծառայել է արդյո՞ք բանակում: Եթե անգամ չի ծառայել, ապա ի՞նչ հիմքերով: Այս հանգամանքից ելնելով, ԱԺ պատգամավոր Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հարցնում արեց ՀՀ  Զինվորական կոմիսարին, պարզելու համար այս ամենի իսկությունը: Հանրապետական Զինվորական կոմիսարիատից մի քանի օր անց հայտնեցին, որ պատասխանել են Փաշինյանին:

Սակայն այսօր արդեն պարզ դարձավ, որ տեղեկությունը չի համապատասխանում իրականությանը: Փաշինյանը իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում հրապարակել է գլխավոր զինկոմի ներկայացրած փատաթղթերը եւ տեղեկացրել, որ համապատասխան տեղեկատվություն չի տրամադրվել՝ փաստերի ոչնչացված լինելու պատճառով:

«Նոյեմբերի 1-ին տեղեկացրել էի, որ ՀՀ Զինվորական կոմիսարին գրություն էի ուղակել, պահանջելով ինձ տրամադրել այն փաստաթղթերը, որոնց հիման վրա 1993 թվականին զորակոչիկ Վիգեն Սարգսյանը ժամկետային զինվորական ծառայությունից տարկետում է ստացել։

Այսօր ծանոթացա զինկոմի պատասխանին։ Իմ պահանջած փաստաթղթերը կցված չեն փաթեթին, որովհետեւ, ինչպես զինկոմն է գրում ինձ ուղղված գրության մեջ, այդ փաստաթղթերը ոչնչացվել են։

Հիշեցնեմ, որ հարցումն ուղարկել էի այն բանից հետո, երբ հրապարակային կասկածներ էին հնչել, որ 1993 թվականին Վիգեն Սարգսյանը ապօրինի կերպով զորակոչից խուսափել է»:

Ավելի հիմար պատճառաբանություն, մեր պաշտոնյաները չէին կարող հնչեցնել: Նախ ասենք, որ նման կարգի փաստաթղթերը չեն ոչնչացվում, այլ ուղարկվում են արխիվ: Ունեն հստակ պահպանման ժամկետ: Վիգեն Սարգսյանը, դեռ բավականին երիտասարդ տարիքում է, որպեսզի նրա անձնական գործը ոչնչացնեին: Ասել կուզե, նա պահեստազորում է: Եթե վաղը Վիգեն Սարգսյանը չլինի ՊՆ, և սկսվեն ռազմական գործողություններ, ապա նրան ևս՝ մյուսների հետ հավասար, զորակոչելու են: Ստացվում է ի՞նչ, մարդն անձնական գործ չունի և խուսափում է պատերազմից: Վատ է ընկերներ, շատ վատ է: Ավելի հանցագործ երևույթ, այս դրվագի հետ կապված դժվար է պատկերացնել:
