Պաշտոնական տվյալներով` 2014 թվականի հունվարի 1-ի դրությամբ` Հայաստանում նարկոլոգիական հիմնարկներում թմրամիջոցների գործածման հետ կապված գրանցված է 4922 մարդ: Նախորդ տարվա համեմատ ցուցանիշն աճել է մոտ 600-ով: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` նոյեմբերի 5-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանն այս մասին հայտնեց Առողջապահության ազգային ինստիտուտի թմրամիջոցների և թմրամոլության մոնիտորինգի ղեկավար Սուրեն Նազինյանը:

Գրանցվածների 70 տոկոսը 28-49 տարեկան է: Մեկ դեռահաս կա գրանցված` 14 տարեկան, և երկու 18 տարեկաններ, 67-ը կին են: Նազինյանի խոսքով` 2014 թվականի փետրվար-մարտին դատապարտյանլների շրջանում թմրանյութերի օգտագործման պատճառների վերաբերյալ հետազոտություն է կատարվել, որին կամավորության սկզբունքով մասնակցել է 157 դատապարտյալ: Պարզվել է, որ հիմնական պատճառներն անձնական խնդիրների հետ կապված են:

Ինչ վերաբերում է օգտագործվող թմրամիջոցների տեսակին, ապա 2902 հոգի հաշվառված է ափիոնատիպ նյութերի (քնաբեր կակաչից ստացվող նյութերի և դրանց սինթեթիկ փոխարինողների), 2018-ը` կանաբիոիդային թմրամիջոցների և 2 հոգի` կոկաինի օգտագործման համար:

Հոգեբույժ, գիտությունների թեկնածու Լիլիթ Մնացականյանն իր հերթին նշեց, որ խնդրով հիմնականում իրեն դիմել են դեռահասների ծնողները: Դեռահասների շրջանում թմրանյութ օգտագործելու հիմնական պատճառները հետաքրքրությունների բացակայությունն է և խմբի մեջ ներգրավված լինելու ձգտումը: «Կարևոր են կանխարգելիչ միջոցները, որոնցից կարող են լինել կայուն ուսումնական մոտիվացիան և առողջ ընտանիքի մոդելը: Այս խնդրին առնչվող մտահոգիչ կողմերից մեկն էլ այն է, որ մարդիկ հաճախ տեղյակ չեն լինում, թե որտեղ կարելի է դիմել օգնության համար»,- ասաց հոգեբանը` հավելելով, որ թեև վերջին տարիներին հասարակության վստահությունը հոգեբանի նկատմամաբ աճել է, բայց նարկոլոգիական խնդրի առումով դիմելիությունը չի աճել: «Շատերը ստիպողաբար են ներգրավվում բուժմանը: Ուստի, կարևոր է հոգեբանի ներգրավվածությունը բուժման և վերականգնողական գործընթացին, քանի որ այդ խնդիրն ունեցող մարդը կարող է նորից հանձնվել և նույն խնդրի առաջ կանգնել»,- պարզաբանեց նա:
