Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը Բրյուսելում մասնակցում է ԵԺԿ գագաթնաժողովին

Աշխատանքային այցով Բելգիայի Թագավորությունում գտնվող Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր Բրյուսելում մասնակցում է Եվրոպական ժողովրդական կուսակցության (ԵԺԿ) գագաթնաժողովին, որը վարում է ԵԺԿ նախագահ Ժոզեֆ Դոլը:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, գագաթնաժողովին մասնակցում են Եվրոպական խորհրդի և Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի նախագահներ Դոնալդ Տուսկը և Ժան-Քլոդ Յունկերը, Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի նախագահ Անտոնիո Տայանին, ԵՄ անդամ և Արևելյան գործընկերներ երկրներից ԵԺԿ-ին անդամակցող կուսակցությունները ներկայացնող պետությունների և կառավարությունների ղեկավարները:

Օրակարգի շրջանակներում գագաթնաժողովի մասնակիցները քննարկում են համաեվրոպական նշանակության արդիական խնդիրներն ու Արևելյան գործընկերության գագաթնաժողովի նախապատրաստական աշխատանքները, որի ժամանակ անդրադարձ կկատարվի 2015թ. Ռիգայում կայացած գագաթնաժողովում սահմանված առաջնային ոլորտներում համագործակցության հետագա ամրապնդման հարցերին:

Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը գագաթնաժողովում հանդես է եկել ելույթով, որում անդրադարձել է Հայաստան-Եվրամիություն համագործակցության օրակարգին և հարաբերությունների զարգացման դինամիկային, Հայաստանի համար ԵԺԿ և Արևելյան գործընկերության բրյուսելյան գագաթնաժողովներում քննարկվող հարցերի կարևորությանը, ԵՄ-ի հետ Հայաստանի ստորագրելիք Համապարփակ և ընդլայնված գործընկերության համաձայնագրին, ինչպես նաև միջկուսակցական համագործակցության զարգացման ուղղությամբ իրականացվող աշխատանքին: Նշելով, որ այս տարի լրանում է ԵԺԿ-ին ՀՀԿ անդամակցության 5-րդ տարեդարձը, Սերժ Սարգսյանը նկատել է, որ չնայած համեմատաբար կարճ ժամանակահատվածին՝ համատեղ աշխատանքի շնորհիվ ՀՀԿ-ն լիարժեքորեն ինտեգրվեց եվրոպական այս ընտանիքին: ԵԺԿ-ի հետ ՀՀԿ համագործակցությունը, Նախագահի գնահատմամբ, Հայաստանի համար դարձել է նաև եվրոպական քաղաքականությանը ներգրավման կարևորագույն հարթակներից մեկը: 

Սերժ Սարգսյանը հատկանշական է համարել, որ Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի ս.թ. նոյեմբերի 15-ի բանաձևում Հայաստանը որակվում է որպես մի երկիր, որը հաջողությամբ համատեղում է անդամակցությունը ԵԱՏՄ-ին և մասնակցությունը ԵՄ հարևանության ռազմավարությանը: Նախագահը վստահեցրել է, որ ապագայում ևս Հայաստանը շարունակելու է առաջնորդվել համակեցության հենց այս բանաձևով:

Նախագահ Սարգսյանը հույս է հայտնել, որ ԵՄ Արևելյան գործընկերության գագաթնաժողովի վաղվա քննարկումներն արդյունավետ կլինեն, և կհաջողվի համատեղ ձեռնարկը դարձնել առավել նպատակային, իսկ արդյունքները՝ ավելի տեսանելի և շոշափելի հասարակությունների համար։
