«Ֆիլիպ Մորրիս Արմենիա» ընկերությունը դեկտեմբերի 5-ին փոխըմբռնման հուշագրեր է ստորագրել Երևանի պետական համալսարանի (ԵՊՀ) և Հայաստանի ազգային պոլիտեխնիկական համալսարանի (ՀԱՊՀ) հետ: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ տնտեսական զարգացման և ներդրումների նախարարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից:

Ըստ Երևանի պետական համալսարանի հետ ստորագրված հուշագրի` «Ֆիլիպ Մորրիսը» կաջակցի համալսարանում կրթական և հետազոտական ծրագրերին, իսկ Պոլիտեխնիկական համալսարանի հետ կնքված հուշագրի համաձայն, ընկերությունը նախատեսում է համալսարանի տարածքում հիմնել գիտահետազոտական կենտրոն:

Հիշեցնենք, որ ընթացիկ տարվա մարտի 2-ին ՀՀ տնտեսական զարգացման և ներդրումների նախարար Սուրեն Կարայանը և «Ֆիլիպ Մորիս Ինթերնեյշնլ Մենեջմենթ Էս Էյ» ընկերության Արևելյան Եվրոպայի, Միջին Արևելքի և Աֆրիկայի տարածաշրջանի և «Ֆիլիպ Մորիս Ինթերնեյշնլի Դյութի Ֆրի»-ի նախագահ Դրագո Ազինովիչը ՀՀ կառավարությունում ստորագրել են փոխըմբռնման շրջանակային հուշագիր: Հուշագրով նախատեսված էր Հայաստանում ստեղծել հետազոտությունների և մշակումների ինովացիոն հաբ։ Կառույցի գործունեությունը պետք է իրականացվի երկու հիմնական ուղղությամբ՝ հետազոտություն և նորարարություն ու կրթական ծրագրեր։

Այսպիսով, Հայաստանի երկու համալսարանների՝ «Ֆիլիպ Մորրիս Արմենիա» ընկերության հետ հուշագրերի ստորագրմամբ տրվել է վերը նշված ուղղություններով փոխգործակցության մեկնարկը:  

Հուշագրերի ստորագրմանը ներկա էր ՀՀ տնտեսական զարգացման և ներդրումների նախարարի տեղակալ Էմիլ Տարասյանը: 

Հուշագրերի ստորագրման արարողություններին մասնակցել են ԵՊՀ ռեկտոր Արամ Սիմոնյանը, ՀԱՊՀ ռեկտոր Ոստանիկ Մարուխյանը, համալսարանների ղեկավար կազմը, «Ֆիլիպ Մորրիս Արմենիա» ընկերության գլխավոր տնօրեն Նատալիա Մայորովան, ընկերության արտադրանքի հետազոտության և մտավոր սեփականության գծով տնօրեն Լուկա Ռոսսին, տեխնոլոգիական հարցերով կառավարիչ Ռիկարդո Ռիվա Ռեջիորին, կորպորատիվ հարցերով կառավարիչ Վահե Դանիելյանը, IBM նորարարական լուծումների ու տեխնոլոգիաների կենտրոնի տնօրեն Բագրատ Ենգիբարյանը:
