Պաշտոնական այցելությամբ Աթենքում գտնվող ԱԳ նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը դեկտեմբերի 13-ին հանդիպեց Հունաստանի նախագահ Պրոկոպիս Պավլոպուլոսի հետ: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:

Ողջունելով ԱԳ նախարարին՝ Պրոկոպիս Պավլոպուլոսը նշեց, որ ուրախ է ընդունել բարեկամ Հայաստանի արտգործնախարարին և հույս հայտնեց, որ այս այցը կնպաստի Հայաստանի և Հունաստանի միջև կապերի առավել ամրապնդմանը:

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ընդունելության համար՝ Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանն ասաց, որ խորհրդանշական է դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների 25-ամյակի հոբելյանական տարում պաշտոնական այցով գտնվել Հունաստանում և փոխանցեց ՀՀ նախագահի ողջույններն ու բարեմաղթանքները, ինչպես նաև Երևան այցելելու հրավերը:

Հունաստանի նախագահը և Հայաստանի ԱԳ նախարարը գոհունակություն հայտնեցին երկու երկրների միջև բամզաբովանդակ համագործակցության կապակցությամբ՝ ընդգծելով, որ երկու եղբայրական ժողովուրդները միմյանց կապված են դարավոր բարեկամությամբ և փոխադարձ մեծ համակրանքով:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում մտքեր փոխանակվեցին հայ-հունական քաղաքական երկխոսության խորացման, տնտեսական կապերի առավել ակտիվացման վերաբերյալ:

ԵՄ հետ Համապարփակ և ընդլայնված գործընկերության համաձայնագրի համատեքստում Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը ներկայացրեց Հայաստան - Եվրոպական միություն ընդլայնվող հարաբերությունները։

Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը Պրոկոպիս Պավլոպուլոսին ներկայացրեց հաջորդ տարի Երևանում կայանալիք Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի գագաթաժողովի օրակարգն ու հիմնական թեմաները։ Հունաստանի նախագահը կարևորեց Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի գագաթաժողովի անցկացումը Երևանում և հաջողություն մաղթեց այդ ներկայացուցչական միջոցառման կազմակերպման գործում։

Հայաստանի արտգործնախարարը Հունաստանի նախագահին ներկայացրեց ղարաղաբյան հիմնախնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորման ուղղությամբ Հայաստանի ու ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ երկրների համատեղ ջանքերը։
