Երեկ նայում եմ դերասանուհի, մոդել, հանդիսավար, հիմա էլ իրեն երգչուհի հռչակած Էլեն Ասատրյանի հարցազրույցը, և մտքիս մի բան էր գալիս՝ ջահել աղջիկ է, բայց պառավական թեմաներից է խոսում: Տեսնես Էլենը որքան էր պարապել, որպեսզի այդքան գրական խոսեր: Հարցազրույցից մեծ բավականություն ստանալուց հետո որոշեցի առանձնացնել վերջինիս մտքի գոհարներից մի քանիսը:

Մշտապես երկրորդական, երրորդական դերերում ներկայացող Էլենը նշում է, որ դեռ պատրաստ չէ գլխավոր դերեր խաղալու: Իսկ ի՞նչ է նշանակում՝ դեռ պատրաստ չեմ, իսկ գուցե ավելի անկեղծ լինես, Էլեն ջան, և խոստովանես, որ քեզ չեն առաջարկում գլխավոր դերեր, թե չէ չեմ կարծում, որ առաջարկեին, դու էլ ասեիր՝ կներեք, ես պատրաստ չեմ:

«Մեր ազգի խնդիրն այն է, որ չեն ընդունում, որ աղջիկը կարող է լինել և՛ բարոյական, և՛ գեղեցիկ, և՛ տաղանդավոր։ Կարծում են, որ դու պետք է լինես որևէ մեկի սիրուհին կամ էլ ինչ-որ մեկի աղջիկը: Ես չեմ հասկանում՝ որտեղ է այդտեղ լոգիկան»: Հիմա վերը նշված հատկությունները քո մասի՞ն էին․․․ Բավականին մեծ կարծիք ունես քո մասին: Ուզում ես ասել, Էլեն ջան, որ նման մարդիկ չկան, որ հենց այդ հատկությունների շնորհի՞վ են հասել հաջողության, դու էլ երևի քո տաղանդի և երկրորդական դերերի համար ես, չէ՞, առաջ գնում:

«Այսօր ուսուցիչների, իբր լավ կանանց դիմակի տակ թաքնված են իսկական անբարոյականները: Ցավալի է, որ մեր սերունդը կրթում են մարդիկ, ովքեր կարող են երիտասարդ աղջկա նկարի տակ անհիմն մեկնաբանություն թողնել: Իհարկե, հետաքրքրում եմ, քանի որ ոչ մեկ իր թանկ ժամանակից անգամ մեկ-երկու րոպե չի տրամադրի մեկնաբանություն թողնելու համար»: Հիշենք՝ ժամանակին ում հաշվին էիր ինքնահաստատվում՝ Մերի Մակարյանի, հետո՝ Մերի Հակոբյանի, ում հետ այլևս չես շփվում, իսկ հիմա էլ՝ Ժաննա Բուտուլյանի:

«Ի վերջո գալու է դատաստանի օրը, և նրանք իրենց արածների համար պետք է պատասխան տան Աստծո առաջ»: Այս պահին հիշեցի տատուս խոսքերը, ով վաթսուն տարեկան հասակում նոր-նոր նման բաներ է խոսում, բայց քսաներկու տարեկան Էլենն այս խոսքերն ասելիս ոնցոր բաջի լինի. մնում էր՝ ձեռքերը խփեր ոտքերին ու գլխաշոր կապեր:

«Ես չեմ հասկանում այն տղաներին, ովքեր կարողանում են այնպիսի աղջիկների ընտրել, ովքեր վատ մեկնաբանություններ են գրում»: Իսկ դու ի՞նչ կպատմես քո անցյալ կյանքի մասին, քեզ ինչի՞ համար էին ընտրում, երևի լավ ու գրական խոսքերի համար, չէ՞:  Մեկը լսի քո խոսքերը, կասի, օ՜, դու, սուրբ և անսխալական աղջնակ:
