Աշխատանքային այցով Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունում գտնվող Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը Մոսկվայում մասնակցել է ԱՊՀ մասնակից պետությունների ղեկավարների ոչ պաշտոնական հանդիպմանը:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, պետությունների ղեկավարները հանդիպման ընթացքում ամփոփել են ԱՊՀ-ում 2017 թվականին ռուսաստանյան նախագահության արդյունքները և մտքեր են փոխանակել տարբեր ոլորտներում համագործակցության հետագա զարգացման հարցերի շուրջ: 

Հանդիպման սկզբում Նախագահ Սարգսյանը ԱՊՀ մասնակից պետությունների գործընկերների հետ միասին շնորհակալություն է հայտնել հյուրընկալող երկրի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինին ԱՊՀ-ում Ռուսաստանի ակտիվ նախագահության, ինչպես նաև մոսկովյան ոչ պաշտոնական հանդիպումը կազմակերպելու համար: Այն, ըստ Սերժ Սարգսյանի, լավ առիթ է ընդգծելու Ռուսաստանի կայունացնող և միավորող դերը: Հանրապետության Նախագահը նշել է, որ այս տարի Ռուսաստանում արձանագրված տնտեսական դրական միտումները դրականորեն են ազդել նաև Հայաստանի ընդհանուր տնտեսական վիճակի վրա: Նախագահ Սարգսյանը հաջորդ տարում ևս հաջողություններ է մաղթել Ռուսաստանին և նրա նախագահին` ի բարօրություն Ռուսաստանի ժողովրդի և ի նպաստ հայ-ռուսական բարեկամության:
