Էշա Գուպտան, չնայած իր հաջողությանը,  չի տառապում աստղային հիվանդությամբ, խոստովանում է որ իր հասցեին արվող քննադատությունները բազմաթիվ են, որոնք էլ հենց օգնում են իրեն այդ հարցում: Հնդկուհի մոդել և դերասանուհի Էշա Գուպտան ծնվել է1985թ.-ի նոյեմբերի 28-ին Նյու-Դելիում: 2007թ.-ին Միսս Հնդկաստան գեղեցկության մրցույթում զբաղեցրել է երրորդ տեղը: Երբ մասակցում էր մրցույթին սովորում էր համալսարանում, նրան առաջարկում էին շարունակել ուսումը Նյուկասլայի համալսարանում, սակայն աղջիկը նախընտրեց կարիերիան Բոլլիվուդում: 2010թ.-ին նա խաղաց իր առաջին դերը, քննադատները գրել էին, որ չնայած այն բանին, որ Էշան սկսնակ է, սակայն գրավում է հանդիսատեսին առաջին իսկ հայացքից, նա ուղղակի հիասքանչ տիկնիկ է:
