Ինչպես հայտնի է, Հայաստանի Հանրապետության չորրորդ նախագահի թեկնածու Արմեն Սարգսյանը ցանկություն է հայտնել որոշումն ընդունելուց առաջ, հանդիպել ոչ միայն արտախորհրդարանական ուժերի, այլ նաև հանրության լայն՝ գիտական, մտավորական, գործարար շրջանակները ներկայացնող անձանց հետ, ինչպես նաև Արցախի Հանրապետության ղեկավարության հետ:

Արցախից արդեն դա ողջունել են: Այլ տարբերակ ակնկալել չէր էլ կարելի: Այստեղ բաց է մնում մի հարց. այս առաջարկությունն Արմեն Սարգսյանինն էր, թե նրա շուրթերով՝ Սերժ Սարգսյանինը: Բոլորս ենք հիշում Սարգսյանի՝ համազգային վստահության կառավարության գաղափարը:

Ամեն դեպքում, որոշ քաղաքական ուժեր, արդեն արձագանքել են այս հայտարարությանը: Ի մասնավորի, «Ժառանգությունը», մասնավորապես, ողջունում է Սարգսյանի ցանկությունը՝ հանդիպել նաև Ազգային ժողովից դուրս գործող ուժերին։ - «Դա շատ ճիշտ ցանկություն է, որովհետև հասարակությունը ոչ թե խորհրդարանում է ներկայացված, այլ խորհրդարանից դուրս է ներկայացված», նշել է կուսակցության փոխնախագահ Արմեն Մարտիրոսյանը:
