95-ամյա չինացի Սյու Ֆենգը, որ համարվում է մահացած և արդեն հուղարկավորվել էր, ուշքի գալով՝ դուրս է եկել դագաղից և վերադարձել տուն:

Վերջերս նա գանգի շրջանում վնասվածքէր ստացել, ինչի հետևանքով երկար ժամանակ կորցրել էր գիտակցությունը: Նրա անշարժ մարմինը գտել էր հարևանը:

Նա որքան էլ ուժեղ հրել էր, ձայն տվել, կինը չէր արձագանքել: Հարևանը փորձել էր լսել նրա շնչառությունը: Շնչառություն չկար, չնայած մարմինը տաք էր:

Կնոջը մեռածհամարելով հարևանը և նրա որդին մարմինը դրել էին դագաղի մեջև անց կացրել հոգեհանգստի արարողություն:

Չինական ավանդույթին համաձայն դիակով դագաղը մի քանի օր չեն թաղում, որպեսզի բոլորը հասցնեն հրաժեշտ տալ հանգուցյալին: Հարևանը որոշել էր չամրացնել դագաղի կափարիչը մինչ թաղելը:

Թաղումից մեկ օր առաջ մարդիկ զարմանքով հայտնաբերեցին, որ դագաղը դատարկ է: Նրանք վազեցին Սյուի տուն և գտան նրան խոհանոցում՝ ուտելիք պատրաստելիս:

Բժշկական հետաքննությունը հաստատեց, որ կինը հարվածից հայտնվել էր արհեստական մահվան վիճակում, որի դեպքում շնչառությոունը դառնում է գրեթե աննկատելի, բայց մարդը ողջ է:

Խեղճ կնոջ վնասն այն էր, որ չինացիները մեռած մարդու իրերն այրում են և նա հիմա մնացել է առանց իրերի:
