1939 թվականին Փարիզում այս տան տիրուհին փակել է դռները և լքել է բնակարանը:

70 տարի անց այն բացեցին:

Ներսում գտան այն ժամանակների զարմանալի կահավորանք և հարդարանք, արվեստի բացառիկ գործեր, որոնց արժեքը հասնում է մի քանի միլիոն դոլարի:

Միայն ավելի ուշ նրանք իմացան, թե իրականում ում էր պատկանում այս բնակարանը:

1939 թվականին 23-ամյա մադամ դե Ֆլորիանը ստիպված եղավ ոչ հեշտ որոշում կայացնել և լքել Փարիզի իր շքեղ բնակարանը:

Դա Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի ժամանակ էր, և նրա տեղափոխությունը, հավանաբար, կապված էր այն լուրի հետ, որ զորքերն արդեն մտնում էին Փարիզ:

Այս ողջ տարիների ընթացքում նա շարունակ վճարել է բնակարանի հետ կապված ծախսերը, սակայն այդպես էլ չի վերադարձել Փարիզ:

2010 թվականին այդ կինը մահացել է 91 տարեկան հասակում:
