Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը հանդիպել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում Լիբանանի Հանրապետության նորանշանակ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Մայա Դաղերի հետ: Շնորհավորելով դեսպանին Հայաստանում դիվանագիտական առաքելությունը սկսելու առթիվ՝ քաղաքապետը համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ դեսպանատան հետ ձևավորված ջերմ հարաբերությունները կլինեն շարունակական, ինչն իր հերթին կնպաստի Երևանի և Լիբանանի մայրաքաղաք Բեյրութի միջև հաստատված բարեկամական ու գործնական հարաբերությունների էլ ավելի ընդլայնմանը: 

«Հաշվի առնելով հայ-լիբանանյան հարաբերությունների ներկայիս բարձր մակարդակը` մենք շատ ենք կարևորում փոխգործակցության ամրապնդումն ու ընդլայնումը նաև տեղական ինքնակառավարման մարմինների միջև: Այս հարցում, անշուշտ, մեծ է ինչպես Ձեր դերը, տիկին դեսպան, այնպես էլ Լիբանանի Հանրապետությունում ՀՀ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպանի: Երևանում ունենք լիբանանյան կապիտալով գործող ընկերությունների լավ օրինակներ և, հաշվի առնելով, որ մեզ մոտ այսօր առկա է ներդրումային բավականին լայն և բարենպաստ դաշտ, ակնկալում եմ, որ Ձեր լիազորությունների շրջանակում կանեք հնարավորը՝ լիբանանյան նոր ընկերություններ Երևան ներգրավելու ուղղությամբ: Համոզված եղեք, որ Երևանի քաղաքապետարանն իր լիազորությունների շրջանակում միշտ բաց և պատրաստակամ է փոխշահավետ համագործակցության համար», - նշել է քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը: 
Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով շնորհավորանքի և համագործակցության ընդլայնման պատրաստակամության համար՝ ՀՀ-ում Լիբանանի Հանրապետության նորանշանակ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Մայա Դաղերը նշել է, որ իր լիազորությունների շրջանակում կանի առավելագույնը երկուստեք կապերի ամրապնդմանն ու էլ ավելի խորացմանն ուղղված բոլոր նախաձեռնություններին և ծրագրերին աջակցելու և օժանդակելու համար: 
«Պարոն քաղաքապետ, մեր երկու երկրների միջև իսկապես առկա են պատմական ամուր կապեր, և ես ուրախ եմ, որ առաքելություն եմ ստանձնել՝ այդ հարաբերություններն էլ ավելի ակտիվացնելու ու ամրապնդելու համար: Վստահեցնում եմ, որ իմ լիազորությունների շրջանակում կանեմ հնարավորը երկու մայրաքաղաքների միջև բազմոլորտ համագործակցությունն ընդլայնելու և քաղաքային տնտեսության տարբեր ոլորտներում փոխգործակցությունը զարգացնելու ուղղությամբ: Հատկապես հաշվի առնելով, որ երկուստեք հարաբերությունների էլ ավելի ամրապնդման ու ընդլայնման հարցում կա Ձեր պատրաստակամությունը, ինչն անչափ կարևոր է, վստահ եմ, որ այն առաջիկայում կստանա գործնական ընթացք: Երևանն իսկապես ունի զարգացման մեծ ներուժ և, որ կարևոր է, առանձնանում է իր հյուրընկալ ու ջերմ բնակիչներով, ինչում արդեն իսկ հասցրել եմ համոզվել այս մեկ ու կես ամսվա ընթացքում», - նշել է դեսպանը:

Հանդիպման ավարտին քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը նաև նշել է, որ ուրախ կլինի այս տարի հյուրընկալելու Բեյրութի գործընկերոջը՝ հատկապես հաշվի առնելով, որ Երևանն այս տարի նշելու է հիմնադրման 2800-ամյակը:
