Կիպրոսի նորանշանակ դեսպանն իր հավատարմագրերի պատճենը հանձնել է ՀՀ արտգործնախարարին

ՀՀ արտգործնախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը մարտի 5-ին ընդունեց Կիպրոսի նորանշանակ դեսպան Լեոնիդաս Մարկիդեսին (նստավայրը՝ Մոսկվա) հավատարմագրերի պատճենի հանձնման կապակցությամբ: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:

Շնորհավորելով դեսպան Մարկիդեսին նշանակման կապակցությամբ՝ նախարար Նալբանդյանը բարձր գնահատեց հայ-կիպրական եղբայրական հարաբերությունները և հաջողություն մաղթեց նրա առաքելության մեջ՝ հույս հայտնելով, որ դեսպանն իր ակտիվ գործունեությամբ նոր լիցք կհաղորդի երկկողմ փոխգործակցությանը: 

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ընդունելության և բարեմաղթանքների համար՝ դեսպան Մարկիդեսը վստահեցրեց, որ կներդնի առավելագույն ջանքերը Հայաստանի և Կիպրոսի միջև օրինակելի համագործակցությունն առաջ մղելու համար:

Զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձան քաղաքական երկխոսության, միջազգային կառույցներում փոխգործակցության, առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերությունների զարգացման, իրավապայմանագրային դաշտի ընդլայնմանն առնչվող հարցերի, քննարկեցին տուրիզմի, մշակույթի բնագավառներում փոխգործակցության ընդլայնման նպատակով ձեռնարկվելիք քայլերը: 

Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանն ու Լեոնիդաս Մարկիդեսն արժևորեցին կիպրահայ համայնքի դերակատարությունը ինչպես Կիպրոսի զարգացման գործում, այնպես էլ երկկողմ հարաբերությունների խորացմանն ուղղված նախաձեռնությունների տեսանկյունից։ 

Երկուստեք կարևորվեց Հայաստան-Եվրամիություն Համապարփակ և ընդլայնված գործընկերության համաձայնագիրը, որը նոր հեռանկարներ է բացում ինչպես երկկողմ, այնպես էլ բազմակողմ ձևաչափերում համագործակցության խորացման համար: 

Զրույցի ընթացքում մտքեր փոխանակվեցին Հայոց ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչման գործընթացի, մարդկության դեմ հանցագործությունների և ցեղասպանությունների կանխարգելման ուղղությամբ միջազգային հանրության ջանքերի շուրջ։

Հայաստանի արտգործնախարարն ու Կիպրոսի դեսպանն անդրադարձան այս տարի հոկտեմբերին կայանալիք Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի երևանյան գագաթաժողովի նախապատրաստական աշխատանքներին։

Հանդիպման օրակարգում էին նաև կիպրական հիմնահարցի կարգավորման ու ղարաբաղյան հիմնախնդրի հանգուցալուծմանն առնչվող հարցերը և երկու երկրների փոխադարձ աջակցությունը այդ ուղղություններով՝ միջազգային հանրության հետ համատեղ գործադրվող ջանքերին:
