Քաղաքագետ Հրանտ Մելիք-Շահնազարյանը կարծում է, որ Ադրբեջանի կողմից հերթական զորավարժություններ անցկացնելու որոշումն անհանգստանալու առիթ չպետք է տա: Քաղաքագետն ընդգծեց, որ Ադրբեջանն ամեն տարի նման զորավարժություններ անցկացնում է, անգամ` տարվա մեջ մի քանի անգամ կարող են խոշորամասշտաբ զորավարժություններ անցկացնել:

«Նրանց նպատակներից մեկն էլ այն է, որ Հայաստանում դա որպես սպառնալիք դիտվի կամ մտահոգվելու առիթ լինի, սակայն, բնականաբար, կարծում եմ, որ պետք չէ անհանգստանալ. ընդհանրապես նման գործընթացները մեր հասարակության ուշադրությանը պետք է չարժանանան: Մեր մասնագետների և զինված ուժերի ուշիմությունը բավականին բարձր է»,- ասաց Մելիք Շահնազարյանը:

Քաղաքագետն այն կարծիքին է, որ նման զորավարժությունների անցկացումը ներքաղաքական քարոզչական քայլ է, սակայն դրանով Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունները նպատակ են հետապնդում նաև զինված ուժերի մարտունակությունը ստուգել: «Կարծում եմ, որ այս անգամ էլ փորձելու են նոր բաներ սովորել»,- նշեց նա:

Հրանտ Մելիք-Շահնազարյանը չբացառեց նաև, որ նման զորավարժությունների անցկացումը կարող է նախընտրական քայլ լինել, սակայն հավելեց, որ դրանց ընթացքում կփորձեն ինչ-որ մասնագիտական, ուսումնական խնդիրներ լուծել:

Ադրբեջանի կողմից լայնամասշտաբ զորավարժություններ անցկացնելու որոշմանն անդրադարձել է նաև ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարի մամուլի խոսնակ Տիգրան Բալայանը: «Ամենախոշոր նախընտրական քարոզարշավին կմասնակցի 25 հազար մարդ, 250 միավոր զրահատեխնիկա, 1000 հրթիռա-հրետանային համակարգ, 50 միավոր ավիացիա: Վերլուծաբանները գլուխ են ջարդում ուսադիրներին ամենամեծ աստղ ունեցող թեկնածուի ելույթի թեմատիկայի վրա»,- գրել է Բալայանը:

Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի հրամանով մարտի 12-17-ն Ադրբեջանում զորավարժություններ կանցկացվեն:
