Երևանի ավագանու ՀՀԿ խմբակցության անդամ Գոռ Վարդանյանի կարծիքով ավագանու վերջին նիստի օրակարգում «Երկիր ծիրանի» խմբակցության կողմից ներկայացված սպարապետ Վ.Սարգսյանի փողոցի անվանափոխման հարցը առաջինը անարգանք էր սպարապետի հիշատակին, իսկ երկրորդ որևէ կապ չուներ այն գործընթացի հետ, որ պետք է իրականացնի «Երկիր ծիրանի» խմբակցությունը: Slaq.am-իհետ զրույցում Գոռ Վարդանյանը հավելեց, որ հայանպաստ գործչի՝ ԱՄՆ 28-րդ նախագահ Վուդրո Վիլսոնի անվամբ փողոց ունենալը, բոլորովին խնդիր չէ, բայց ունենալ այն մեկ այլ արժեքի փոխարեն, անընդունելի է, և առհասարկ մի արժեքը մեկ այլով փոխարնելը ոչ քաղաքական է, ոչ էլ բարոյական:

«Երկիր ծիրանի» խմբակցությունը այս քայլով ցույց տվեց, որ միտված չէ բարելավելու Երևան քաղաքի բնակչի քաղաքային կյանքը: Նրա խոսքով՝ նման կերպ «Երկիր ծիրանին» քաղաքական խժդժումներ է հրահրում: «Եթե քո քայլերն ուղված են երկրի զարգացմանը, Երևան քաղաքի բնակչի առօրյա հոքսերի թեթևացմանը, կամ իսպառ վերացմանը, ապա քո մոտեցումներն էլ այլ պետք է լինեն, քո առաջարկած նախագծերն էլ այլ ընթացակարգ ունենան»,-ասաց Գ.Վարդանյանը: Ըստ նրա՝ այսօր երկրի ամենամեծ քաղաքական ուժը՝ ՀՀԿ իզորու է, պահելու մեր ազգային արժեքները, վարելու ներքին և արտաքին հաջողված քաղաքականություն, և այն ինչ ունենք այսօր բոլորինս է, և մեր քայլերն ուղղված պետք է լինեն կամ օգնելու Ավելի լավը ունենալուն, կապ պարզապես չխանգարելու: «Այս պահին կարելի է արձանագրել, որ «Երկիր ծիրանի» խմբակցությունը ունեցավ իր ֆիասկոն բոլոր առումներով, և իր քայլերով ցույց տվեց որ միտված չէ իր գործին և ավագանու յուրաքանչյուր նիստ վերածում է ինչ-որ հարցերի շուրջ անիմաստ քննարկման»,- ասաց Գ. Վարդանյանը
