Հայաստանը սատարում է Հունաստանին վատ եղանակի պատճառով Թուրքիայի տարածքում հայտնված և լրտեսության մեջ մեղադրվելու համար կալանավորված 2 հույն զինծառայողներին շուտափույթ ազատ արձակելու հարցում: ՀՀ ՊՆ վարչական համալիրում կայացած ասուլիսի ընթացքում այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Վիգեն Սարգսյանը: 

«Մենք գտնում ենք, որ պետք է բարի կամքի դրսևորում լինի, և բոլոր հարաբերություններում պետք է գերիշխի փոխադարձ հարգանքի և միմյանց նկատմամբ ավելի ճկուն մոտեցումների կարողությունը: Մենք այս հարցում սատարում ենք հայտնում հունական կողմին»,- ասաց նախարարը:

Վիգեն Սարգսյանը նաև հայտնեց, որ իր հույն գործընկերոջ հետ քննարկել են Թուրքայի հետ հարաբերությունների հետ կապված խնդիրները: «Երկուստեք անթույլատրելի ենք համարել այդ երկրի կողմից նախապայմանների կամ սպառնալիքների լեզվով խոսելու քաղաքականությունը: Այդ համատեքստում ես իմ գործընկերոջը տեղեկացրեցի 2009թ. ստորագրված հայ-թուրքական արձանագրությունների կնքման ընթացակարգը դադարեցնելու պատճառների մասին»,- ընդգծեց Վիգեն Սարգսյանը:

Մարտի 2-ին Հունաստանի զինված ուժերի 2 զինծառայող մոլորվել են և հայտնվել Թուրքիայի տարածքում: Զինծառայողները հերթապահել են Հունաստանի և Թուրքիայի միջև սահմանային գետ հանդիսացող Մարիցա գետի հատվածում,  եղանակային վատ պայմանների պատճառով մոլորվել են և հայտնվել թուրքական կողմում: Հունաստանի ԶՈւ զինծառայողներ, լեյտենանտ Անգելոս Միթրետոդիսը և ենթասպա Դիմիտրիս Կաուկլազիսը մեղադրվում են «ռազմական լրտեսության փորձի կատարման և ռազմական արգելված գոտի մուտք գործել» համար: Մարտի 27-ին Թուրքիայի վերաքննիչ քրեական դատարանը մերժել է թուրք-հունական սահմանները հատած 2 հույն զինծառայողին ազատ արձակելու վերաբերյալ նրանց փաստաբանների պահանջը: Հույն զինծառայողները շարունակելու են կալանավորված մնալ:
