Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը մարտի 29-ին ընդունել է երկօրյա այցով Հայաստանում գտնվող Հունաստանի ազգային պաշտպանության նախարար Պանոս Կամենոսին:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ողջունելով հյուրին և ընդգծելով, որ հայ-հունական առնչությունները հազարամյակների պատմություն ունեն և լի են բարեկամության բազմաթիվ դրսևորումներով՝ Հանրապետության Նախագահը պատահական չի համարել, որ երկու ժողովուրդների հարաբերություններին հատուկ է փոխըմբռնման և փոխվստահության բարձր մակարդակը: Սերժ Սարգսյանը ուրախությամբ է արձանագրել, որ միջպետական հարաբերությունների ավանդական հենասյուներից է դարձել նաև հայ-հունական պաշտպանական ոլորտի համագործակցությունը:

Զրուցակիցները երկուստեք գոհունակությամբ են նշել, որ վերջին տարիներին երկկողմ համագործակցությունը նշանավորվել է բարձր մակարդակի փոխայցերով, ինչպես նաև պաշտպանական, տնտեսական, մշակութային, գիտակրթական և մի շարք այլ ոլորտներում համագործակցության սերտացմամբ:

Նախագահը ջերմությամբ է հիշել 2016 թվականին Հունաստան կատարած իր պաշտոնական այցը և նախարար Կամենոսին խնդրել է իր ջերմ ողջույններն ու բարեմաղթանքները փոխանցել Հունաստանի վարչապետ Ալեքսիս Ցիպրասին և նախագահ Պրոկոպիոս Պավլոպուլոսին: 

Նախագահ Սարգսյանը և Հունաստանի պաշտպանության նախարար Պանոս Կամենոսը գոհունակություն են հայտնել պաշտպանության բնագավառում հայ-հունական երկկողմ համագործակցության ներկայիս բարձր մակարդակից: Սերժ Սարգսյանը մեկ անգամ ևս երախտագիտություն է հայտնել հունական կառավարության կողմից տարիներ շարունակ ռազմական և քաղաքացիական կրթության ոլորտում ցուցաբերվող աջակցության համար՝ նշելով, որ դա մեծ ներդրում է բարեկամության ամրապնդման գործում, քանի որ Հունաստանում կրթություն ստացած հայ երիտասարդներն իրենց նպաստը կբերեն երկկողմ հարաբերությունների զարգացմանը: 

Հանդիպմանն անդրադարձ է եղել նաև Երևանում անցկացվող «ԱրմՀայԹեք» ցուցահանդեսին, որտեղ այսօր այցելել է նաև Հունաստանի ազգային պաշտպանության նախարարը: Զրուցակիցները ցուցահանդեսը լավ հնարավորություն են համարել ծանոթանալու ռազմական արդյունաբերության բնագավառում մասնակից երկրների ձեռքբերումներին և զարգացնելու ռազմատեխնիկական համագործակցությունը:

Նախարար Պանոս Կամենոսը նշել է, որ հայ գործընկերոջ հետ շարունակում են համատեղ ջանքերը պաշտպանության ոլորտում համագործակցությունն ընդլայնելու ուղղությամբ:
