Հարավային Կորեայի մշակույթի, սպորտի եւ զբոսաշրջության նախարար Տո Չոն Հվանը հայտարարել է, որ ԿԺԴՀ ղեկավար Կիմ Չեն Ընը  «բոլորովին ուրիշ է», քան իրեն ԶԼՄ-ն նկարագրում է, ինչպես նաեւ նշել է, որ նա անկեղծորեն ցանկանում է բարելավել հարաբերություններն իր հարավային հարեւանի հետ: ԿԺԴՀ առաջնորդի հետ հանդիպման մասին իր տպավորություններով, ինչպես հաղորդում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը, նախարարը պատմել է CNN-ին:

Նա հաղորդել է, որ ապրիլի 1-ին Փհենյանում հարավկորեացի արտիստների ելույթների ժամանակ նստած է եղել Կիմ Չեն Ընի եւ նրա կնոջ՝ Լի Սոլ Չժուի կողքին: Մշակույթի նախարարը պատմել է, որ ԿԺԴՀ ղեկավարն իրեն «բոլորովին ուրիշ է» թվացել, քան իրեն ներկայացնում են նորություններում: Նրա խոսքով՝ Կիմ Չեն Ընը անկեղծորեն ցանկանում բարելավել երկու երկների հարաբերությունները:

 «Նա շատ բնական էր իրեն պահում, երբ տարբեր թեմաներով խոսում էր՝ երաժշտությունից մինչեւ սպորտ», - ասել է նախարարը:

Հարավային Կորեայի արտիստները երկու համերգ են տվել ԿԺԴՀ-ում, որոնք  տեղի են ունեցել ապրիլի 1-ին եւ 3-ին: Առաջին միջոցառմանը ներկա էր Կիմ Չեն Ընը՝ կնոջ եւ հարազատ քրոջ՝ Կիմ Յո Չժոնի հետ:

2005 թվականից հետո սա Հարավային Կորեայի արտիստների առաջին ուղեւորությունն է ԿԺԴՀ:
