Պահպանակները հինգերորդ տեղն են զբաղեցնում անցանկալի հղիությունից պաշտպանվելու միջոցների շարքում և առաջինը` սեռավարակներից խուսափելու միջոցների մեջ: Բայց կան փաստեր, որոնց մասին պիտի բոլորն իմանան:

1. Պահպանակները կարող են ալերգիա առաջացնել

Իհարկե նման դեպքերը հազվադեպ են, բայց որոշ մարդկանց մոտ սեռական ակտի ժամանակ առաջանում է սեռական օրգանների քոր և այրոց: Դա կարող է պայմանավորված լինել ինչպես սիլիկոնային հիմքի վրա քսուքով, այնպես էլ հենց լատեքսով: Նրանց համար, ովքեր ալերգիա ունեն լատեքսից, արտադրվում են այլ նյութերից պահպանակներ, որոնք վաճառվում են դեղատներում և ինտիմ խանութներում:

2. Անատոմիական պահպանակներն ավելի անվտանգ են

«Anatomic» նշագրումով պահպանակներն ավելի անվտանգ են շնորհիվ անատոմիական ձևի. դրանք բավականին ամուր գրկում են առնանդամը, ինչը թույլ չի տալիս, որ պահպանակը սահի կամ պատռվի:

5. Սպերմիցիդային քսուքն ապահովում է հավելյալ պաշտպանություն անցանկալի հղիությունից

Եթե պահպանակը մշակված է Nonoxinol-9 սպերմիցիդ պարունակող քսուքով, հղիանալու վտանգն ավելի քիչ է, անգամ եթե պահպանակը պատռվի:

6. Պահպանակի պահպանման ժամկետը 3-5 տարի է

Անպայման ուշադրություն դարձրեք պահպանակի ժամկետին: Դրանց մեծ մասի պիտանելիության ժամկետը 3 տարի է: Առավել որակյալները կարող են պահպանվել մինչև 5 տարի:

7. Մի օգտագործեք պահպանակ սեռական ակտը սկսելուց հետո

Որոշ զույգեր պահպանակը սկսում են օգտագործել միայն սեռական ակտի կեսից: Բայց դա այդքան էլ արդյունավետ չէ, քանի որ բնական քսուքի մեջ էլ կան սպերմատոզոիդներ, իսկ դա կարող է հանգեցնել անցանկալի հղիության, բացի այդ կա ռիսկ, որ պահպանկը կպատռվի կամ կսահի:
