Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ոստիկանությունը հերթական անգամ հորդորել է ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավոր Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին և նրա կողմնակիցներին զերծ մնալ իրավախախտումներ պարունակող գործողություններից՝ չվտանգելով քաղաքացիների իրավունքներն ու ազատությունները: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ոստիկանության հասարակայնության հետ կապերի և լրատվության վարչությունից, ոստիկանության հայտարարության մեջ մասնավորապես ասվում է.

«ՀՀ ԱԺ պատգամավոր Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, 2018թ. ապրիլի 15-ին ելույթ ունենալով Երևան քաղաքի Ֆրանսիայի հրապարակում, ՀՀ քաղաքացիներին կոչ է արել ապրիլի 16-ին, առավոտյան, իրականացնել գործողություններ, որոնց զգալի մասը «Հավաքների ազատության մասին» ՀՀ օրենքի ակնհայտ խախտում են և իրենց դրսևորման պարագայում առերևույթ իրավախախտման հատկանիշներ են պարունակելու՝ առաջացնելով օրենքով սահմանված պատասխանատվություն:

Այդ գործողությունների որոշ մասը, բացի այն, որ էական վնաս են հասցնելու մայրաքաղաքի բնակիչների ազատ տեղաշարժի, դրանից բխող այլ իրավունքներին, կազմակերպությունների բնականոն գործունեությանը, առանձին դեպքերում իրական սպառնալիք են պարունակում քաղաքացիների կյանքի և առողջության համար:

Կոչ ենք անում հավաքի կազմակերպիչներին և որոշ մասնակիցներին զերծ մնալ իրավախախտումներ պարունակող գործողություններից՝ չվտանգելով քաղաքացիների իրավունքներն ու ազատությունները, կազմակերպությունների օրինական շահերը»:

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը երկշաբաթյա քայլերթ էր կազմակերպել, Գյումրիից եկել Երևան` ոտքով կտրել անցնելով 212 կիլոմետր և կատարելով շուրջ 320 հազար քայլ: Ապրիլի 13-ի երեկոյան հանրահավաքից հետո նա իր կողմնակիցների հետ փակել է Ֆրանսիայի հրապարակը:

Ապրիլի 16-ի առավոտից հավաքի կազմակերպիչներին և որոշ մասնակիցներ փակել են Երևանի մի շարք բանուկ փողոցներ՝ խոչընդոտելով երթևեկը:
