Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը հայտարարությամբ է հանդես վերջին օրերի իրադարձությունների վերաբերյալ՝ նշելով, որ ողջունում է ՀՅԴ առաջարկությունը՝ ՀՀ նախագահի հովանու ներքո ստեղծել քաղաքական խորհրդակցությունների հարթակ, առկա խնդիրներին համատեղ, համախոհության սկզբունքով լուծումներ գտնելու նպատակով:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմից, հայտարարության մեջ նշված է. «Վերջին օրերին մեր Հանրապետության հազարավոր քաղաքացիներ, որոնց գերակշիռ մասը ուսանող երիտասարդությունն է, ցույցերի եւ երթերի ձեւով իրենց պահանջներն են ներկայացնում իշխանություններին:

Երիտասարդները մեր վաղվա օրն են՝ ապագա զինվորը, գիտնականը եւ ինժեները, քաղաքական գործիչը եւ պետական պաշտոնյան, եւ, անշուշտ, նրանց ձայնը պետք է լսելի լինի ու նրանց կարծիքը հարգվի:

Անշուշտ, կան կուտակված բազմաթիվ սոցիալ-տնտեսական, իրավական եւ քաղաքական բնույթի խնդիրներ, որոնք շուտափույթ լուծում են պահանջում: Հայաստանի խորհրդարանը եւ նրա մեծամասնության ձեւավորած կառավարությունը, օժտված լինելով համապատասխան լիազորություններով, կոչված են այդ հարցերը քննարկելու եւ հասարակությանը բավարարող լուծում գտնելու համար:

Իմ խորին համոզմամբ, նման վիճակների միակ լուծումը երկխոսությունն է ցանկացած ձեւաչափով, միմյանց տեսակետների հարգումն ու հանդուրժողականությունը:

Որպես պետության ղեկավար, ես հրավիրում եմ կողմերին երկխոսության, ստեղծված վիճակից լավագույն ելք գտնելու համար:

Այդ առումով կիսում եմ իրավիճակի կապակցությամբ տարբեր հասարակական- քաղաքական կազմակերպությունների արտահայտած մտահոգությունները եւ ողջունում ՀՅԴ առաջարկությունը՝ ՀՀ նախագահի հովանու ներքո ստեղծել քաղաքական խորհրդակցությունների հարթակ, առկա խնդիրներին համատեղ, համախոհության սկզբունքով լուծումներ գտնելու նպատակով:

Մինչ այդ կոչ եմ անում հանրային հավաքի մասնակիցներին՝ ցուցարարներին եւ իրավապահներին, հանդես բերելու զսպվածություն եւ պատասխանատվություն:

Ուզում եմ եւս մեկ անգամ հիշեցնել, որ մեր երկրի անվտանգությունը, կայունությունը եւ ազգային համերաշխությունը բոլորիս համար պետք է լինեն առաջնային ու անքննելի անհրաժեշտություն»:
