Եվրասիական բարձրագույն խորհրդի նիստի շրջանակում մայիսի 14-ին, Սոչիում տեղի է ունեցել ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի և Բելառուսի նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոյի հանդիպումը:
 
Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Բելառուսի նախագահը շնորհավորել է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին ՀՀ վարչապետի պաշտոնը ստանձնելու կապակցությամբ և նշել. «Հաճելի է հանդիպել, շնորհավորում եմ, որ պատվով և ճիշտ դուրս եկաք ստեղծված իրավիճակից, ինչի համար ուրախ ենք: Շատ կարևոր է, որպեսզի Դուք ինձնից լսեք այն, ինչ վերաբերում է Բելառուսի՝ եղբայրական հայ ժողովրդի ու պետության հետ հարաբերություններին: Չեմ կարծում, որ մեր հարաբերություններում կան կամ կլինեն որևէ խնդիրներ: Պատասխանատու պաշտոն եք ստանձնել և մաղթում եմ հաջողություններ»,- ասել է Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոն:
 
Բելառուսի նախագահը կարևորել է Հայաստանի հետ եղբայրական հարաբերությունների հետագա զարգացումը և համոզմունք հայտնել, որ երկկողմ կապերը կշարունակեն ընդլայնվել կառուցողական ու բարեկամական մթնոլորտում: Լուկաշենկոն ավելացրել է, որ վերջերս Հայաստանի նախագահի հետ քննարկել է հայաստանյան իրադարձությունները և բելառուսական ԶԼՄ-ները ժամանել են Երևան դրանք օբյեկտիվ ներկայացնելու համար:
 
«Շնորհակալ եմ և՛ նրան, և՛ Ձեզ: Մեր լրագրողները շփվել են Ձեր շտաբի ներկայացուցիչների հետ և ստացել իրական պատկեր»,- ասել է պարոն Լուկաշենկոն:
 
Վարչապետ Փաշինյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ջերմ խոսքերի և մաղթանքների համար և նկատել, որ բելառուսական կողմը, այդ թվում՝ ԶԼՄ-ները, մեծապես հետաքրքրված են Հայաստանի ներքաղաքական իրադարձություններով:
 
Կառավարության ղեկավարը հույս է հայտնել, որ Բելառուսի նախագահի հետ համագործակցությունը կլինի արդյունավետ՝ ի շահ երկու պետությունների հարաբերությունների զարգացման ու ամրապնդման: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդգծել է Բելառուսի հետ տարբեր ոլորտներում փոխգործակցության կարևորությունը և նշել, որ անհրաժեշտ է հետևողական քայլեր իրականացնել տնտեսական կապերի խթանման, առևտրաշրջանառության ծավալների ավելացման ուղղությամբ: «Վերջին շրջանում մեր երկրների միջև առևտրաշրջանառության ծավալներն աճել են, սակայն առկա է չիրացված մեծ ներուժ: Պետք է առաջին հերթին աշխատենք այդ ուղղությամբ, քանի որ, կարծում եմ՝ գործարարների շրջանում առկա է փոխգործակցության զարգացման շահագրգռվածություն»,- ասել է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը:
