Հայաստանի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի գրասենյակն արձանագրել է ապրիլին ընթացող հավաքների ընթացքում քաղաքացիական հագուստով անձանց կողմից հավաքի մասնակիցների և լրագրողների նկատմամբ բռնության դեպերի մասին հաղորդումները և համապատասխան գրություններ ուղարկել իրավապահ մարմիններին:

«Եղել են նաև տեղեկություններ, որ կան քաղաքացիական հագուստով, քաղաքացիական մեքենաներով ու առանց համարանիշի մեքենաներով ոստիկաններ, որոնք նույնպես բռնություն են գործադրել հավաքի մասնակիցների, այդ թվում` անչափահասների նկատմամբ: Մենք այս ամենը ֆիքսել ենք և գրություններ ենք ուղարկել դատախազություն, քննչական կոմիտե, հատուկ քննչական ծառայություն, ոստիկանություն և յուրաքանչյուրից իր իրավասությունների շրջանակներում համապատասխան հարցեր ենք առաջադրել: Մենք պատրաստվում ենք հետևողական լինել, որպեսզի այս հարցերը լուծվեն»,- նշեց Թաթոյանը:

Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանը այս  հարցերում շատ կարևոր և արդյունավետ է համարում պատասխանատվության արդյունավետ մեխանիզմը:

«Եթե պատասխանատվության մեխանիզմն արդյունավետ չաշխատեց, մեր գործողությունները չեն ունենա  կանխարգելիչ նշանակություն: Դրա համար կարևոր է խիստ պատասխանատվությունը: Սա այն դեպքն է, որ պետք է խիստ պատասխանատվություն պահանջել ավելի լավ արդյունքի հասնելու համար: Այս ամենին հետագայում մեր կողմից համապարփակ գնահատականներ կտրվեն»,- եզրափակեց Արման Թաթոյանը:
