Ռումինիայում ՀՀ դեսպան Սերգեյ Մինասյանը մայիսի 15-ին հանդիպել է Ռումինիայի վարչապետ Վասիլիկա-Վիորիկա Դանչիլային: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից՝ հավելելով. «Ռումինիայի վարչապետը Հայաստանի վարչապետի պաշտոնում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի ընտրության կապակցությամբ խնդրեց նրան փոխանցել իր շնորհավորական նամակը, որը հանձնեց անձամբ և վստահություն հայտնեց, որ հայ-ռումինական հարաբերություններն էլ ավելի կխորանան:

Դեսպան Մինասյանը Ռումինիայի վարչապետին ներկայացրեց Հայաստանի ներքաղաքական զարգացումները, վստահեցնելով, որ Հայաստանը ոչ միայն հանձնառու կմնա իր բոլոր միջազգային պարտավորությունների կատարմանը, այլև ակտիվ քայլեր կձեռնարկի իր միջազգային ներգրավվածությունը նոր մակարդակի բարձրացնելու ուղղությամբ:

Վարչապետ Դանչիլան Հայաստանի դեսպանին հայտնեց, որ Ռումինիայի կառավարությունն ավարտել է ԵՄ-Հայաստան համապարփակ և ընդլայնված գործընկերության համաձայնագրի հետ կապված ներպետական ընթացակարգերը, և փաստաթուղթն արդեն իսկ փոխանցել է Ռումինիայի խորհրդարան՝ վավերացման համար:

Հայաստանի դեսպանը գոհունակությամբ արձանագրեց ԼՂ հակամարտության հարցում վերջին տարիներին Ռումինիայի որդեգրած հավասարակշռված մոտեցումը, ինչին արձագանքելով՝ վարչապետ Դանչիլան վստահեցրեց, որ այդ մոտեցումը կլինի շարունակական, նշելով, որ Ռումինիան աջակցում է հակամարտության խաղաղ և երկարաժամկետ կարգավորման միակ ձևաչափը հանդիսացող ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահության միջնորդական առաքելության ջանքերին՝ հիմնված միջազգային իրավունքի սկզբունքների վրա:

Կողմերն անդրադարձան նաև ընթացիկ տարվա հոկտեմբերի 11-12-ը Երևանում կայանալիք Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի XVII գագաթնաժողովին՝ նշելով այդ իրադարձության կարևորությունը Հայաստանի և ֆրանկոֆոն շարժման համար:

Զրուցակիցները քննարկեցին միջազգային հարթակներում համագործակցությունը, երկկողմ տնտեսական հարաբերությունների ոլորտին առնչվող հարցեր»:
